my friend has 4 kids by an undocumented immigrant but they are not together anymore. He is an alcoholic and is addicted to crack. He make good money (working under the table) building houses but all of his money every week goes to drugs and beer. He has not paid her anything in a while. With Christmas coming, she is afraid she won't be able to buy them gifts. How does she get child support from someone who doesn't have a social security number? Does she need a lawyer? Please help me help my friend save Christmas for her babies.

'48900. A pupil may not be suspended from school or recommended for expulsion, unless the superintendent or the principal of the school in which the pupil is enrolled determines that the pupil has committed an act as defined pursuant to any of subdivisions (a) to (q), inclusive:
(a) (1) Caused, attempted to cause, or threatened to cause
physical injury to another person.
(2) Willfully used force or violence upon the person of another, except in self-defense.'

Well, I am specifically referring to part 2. Does that part mean that a person CANNOT being suspended at school for self-defense???

I was arrested the other night for two misdemeaner and I have court in two days. I don't know what to expect and I am scared to death of what's going to happen to me and how it will affect my future. I've always been a good kid all my life. I'm 20 years old college student with a clean record before all this happened. I am really dissappointed in myself and my poor decisions that night. Please answer any of these questions if you can.

I believe I was charged with an underage and buying alcohol. I am going to plead guilty to drinking underage but I did not buy alcohol that night. I was carrying my older brother's ID that night but I did not use it (I didn't have to because there was already alcohol at the party I went to). What can I expect to happen to me? What kind of fines and penalties should I expect? How will this affect my future with jobs and such? Do you have any tips or advice for when I appear infront of the judge?

Gillian Gibbons has been arrested , charged, tried , been found guilty and sentenced for breaking the law in the Sudan.

However unpalatable to us in the West this is, how can we in the UK condemn immigrants for not accepting our laws and customs, and then be in uproar in this instance.

Reports are saying that Gillian is being well treated, and chances are she will be released unharmed.

Iran released thirteen British naval ratings when they illegally entered Iranian waters without trial.

In both these events the Western media have had a field day denouncing the two regimes involved.

How can these two stances be reconciled when prisoners are being held in Guantanamo Bay without charge , defence or trial for years during which time they are tortured, abused and denied basic human rights by the so called civilized US government?

True or false?

"If a carload of wheat is considered to be a commercial unit, a buyer who contracts to buy ten carloads and accepts eight and one-half carloads is considered to have accepted nine carloads. "

I am confused because I thought if a buyer contracted to buy a certain amount of units and accepted one, he has accepted all of them. So wouldn't the answer be false, because he has accepted all ten? This question is a bit vague for me, so any clarification would be appreciated. Thanks!

After a very hostile workplace conflict a year ago, I immediately decided to quit a job. I wasn't forced out or anything but I was talked about immediately after the incident occured and I left within a few minutes of the conflict because the supervisor had not intervened until she saw that I was on my way out the door and she basically got scared because she knew that she was understaffed as it was and she needed me to stay there. I know that "voluntarily" quitting a job makes it harder to take legal action or anything like that, but I am suffering severe distress over this job incident, even though it happened over a year ago and I can't move on from it because there was no real resolution and I was made to look very bad. Another thing, the coworker that I had the conflict with had been fired twice previously from that company so would that give me leverage in anyway.

Last week an english police man was in court for speeding, 120mph in a 40mph limit, he ran through three red lights and even drove with his lights off to try and evade capture. He was let off and managed to keep his job. What would have happened had it been you or I?

I am a government employee stationed overseas. I am in a supervisory position, and have about 30 employees working for me. I've always heard, but never been able to find in writing, that my salary can't be lower than an employee I supervise. I am a GS (now NSPS) employee, and most of whom I supervise are wage graded employees. Several of those employees have a higher rate of pay than I do. What I'm trying to find out is:

a. Is what I've heard correct, meaning I am entitled to a raise that would bring my rate of pay to 3% higher than my highest paid employee?

b. Where can I find this information in writing?

Thanks for any help.

How can this happen without an extensive investigation delving into literally every aspect of his classified access. Who, what, where, when and how. If he takes the 5th or refuses to cooperate or if he cant remember. Then he should be subject to the maximum penalty for treason. Is it just me or is this the smoking guns of layers upon layers of corruption, treason, dereliction of duty and CONSPIRACY.He was fined 50,000 dollars are you spitting me. Either Clinton can raise that over breakfast. What he was caught taking we dont know, but whatever it was it spanned both party lines. It runs deep and is systemic. It, the infection cannot be cured the entire beast must be removed. This is exactly what are forefathers were cautious of. Hence: "when any government becomes destructive to the right of the people to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, then it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it and to institute a new government. Kinda hard when they take our right to bear arms

What do you think of having hidden cameras in very high crime areas ?
Lets face it cameras are all over, from Times Square to beaches to parking lots you could probably view it but areas where we could really use cameras to protect innocent people from thugs they arent there . If its infringement , what about all the victims assumption that this isn't going to happen to them where they feel safe, innocent social people should have more rights than someone who won't follow the law.

My father has 3 brothers and two sisters of which one is dead.My grandfather divided all his property, which is too much, into the four of them. But one of my uncle pasted strips of his name in many places and he will now is considered wrong. In his will he declared his quite big house to be my uncle's house(the one which pasted strips). And other property was divided among all other brothers including him.Now we paid no attention in property mattersBut as the uncle's house was not his now.so he claimed for the house to be given to him.{My grandfather had given the house not on the name of that uncle but his son}.So he claimed that his house should be given to his son.
Now,as he was wrong district court gave a conclusion that his house was not his and it will also be divided among four brothers. He therefore brought a stay order from "tehseeldar"by illegal means like corruption. But its illegal.
Any ways now he is creating problems for us.Additional details left

I was watching a show on tv where a wealthy father died without a will. He has recently married a woman from Taiwan and one of his biological daughters was living with him. After his death, the wife kicked out the daughter and ceased all monthly allowances that were given to his girls.

Can the daughters successful and legally contest this. And can a wife of only six months really received everything the husband left behind despite the fact he has children?

The daughter are basically penniless and must rely on their mother and themselves for support.

It seems very unfair..but something tells me because he didnt leave a will, the girls are well..screwed...

I told these couple that I would email them the Contract. They would sign it and fax it back. After reading the contract they realize there were some points they didnt like and wanted me to change it. I agreed with that and promise to fax the new contracty with the corrections as soon as possible. But then, after thinking it carefully, I decided not to work with that people because I can tell they are too demanding and dont care too much about my art. So I have decided to tell them that I will be busy by the date the work must done, and I am not going to be able to work for them. I am liable? The promise of faxing them the new contract is an oral agreement by the one I could be liable in any way? We didnt sign anything.I just said "Ok I will be faxing the contract. Bye"
What do you think?

The following in no way represents my true beliefs. Okay, well, it does, but just in case the FBI break down my door after I post this, I can say that it was all purely hypothetical.

I suggest that the death penalty is wrong only because death is actually *too good* for those convicted of first degree murder. Hell, this might apply even to second degree murder. I'm thinking about it. First degree murder implies an intent to kill, and second degree murder implies that death resulted from an assault intended to harm.

What if, instead of simply being imprisoned, murderers were actually tortured? Killers, you see, often don't fear death, which is why statistics show that the death penalty has no effect as a deterrent. Many murderers actually desire death. Therefore, I suggest that murderers be subjected to agony that they didn't know they were afraid of. This is, of course, not realistic. It is unquestionably barbaric and generally not PC.

Ever notice these demons can hide in Britney's bushes, snap pictures of a celebrity naked in the home, stalk Beyonce & Michael Jackson, block Will & Jada as virtual prisoners as they try to get out their driveway, chase down Princess Di, causing her death (snapping pics of her bloody, taking her last breath [not calling 911]), side-swipe Lindsay Lohan's car in a high-speed chase to get her pic (causing her to have an accident), & a host of other roguish-a** crimes ... & get away with it? Notice, if the celebrity dares to spit in the clown's face or grab the camera & throw it out the window, that celebrity is villanized & pressured to apologize!

How many think BUSH can shoot 'em in COLD BLOOD if he spots 'em in his bushes / peeking at LAURA through the window & get away with it?

Don't even MENTION what the SECRET SERVICE can get away with in the name of NATIONAL SECURITY!! Pretty certain they can make 'em disappear ... don't bother looking in a dumpster OR down a shark's belly!!

If a male is confident that the fetus growing inside her is his, and she wants to have an abortion, can't he legally prevent her from doing so. What if the male wanted to marry another woman who couldn't have kids (I know that is a low thing to do, but that is his right)? Now what if he wanted to raise the child that his ex is carrying in his new family? If he agrees to pay for all medical costs for her, can he prevent her from having an abortion?

I mean some women have no problems being a surrogate, and techinically the fetus is half his anyway.
