she was pulled over by the guards in july and they arrested her under the suspicion of drink or drug driving..they took a urine sample and it tested positive for cannabis.. she did tell them that she had smoked it 2 nights prior to being arrested.. can she still be convicted for it eventhough she wasnt under the influence but just because it was found in her system... any info really appreciated......

my sister was shot and killed by her husbands grandma.she said they didnt argue and had a good visit but when she went to get something off her table she heard her slidding door and turned to see my sister coming at her with a hammer in her left hand ,so she pulled her 22 rifle out and they struggled and it went off.my sister was righthanded and they more than likely discussed my sisters decision to file divorce and abandonment on her husband the next week. she also just heard my sister coming into the living room from outside not her opening the door and goin out .theres so many other inconsistanceys in her story.even the detectives believe it was murder,but shes stuck by self defense and nothing is goin to happen to her.news articles at heathermizellmemorial.com

We had to write a paper in english regarding a law we dissagree with, i chose the drinking age. I personally dont drink, but here it goes.

Legal adults can marry, purchase or perform in pornography, vote, adopt children, own cars, have abortions, enter into legally binding contracts, operate businesses, vote, adopt children, give consent for sexual intercourse, hold public office, purchase weapons, be imprisoned, be executed, be an employer, sue and be sued, and go to war, but still cannot touch their lips to alcohol. America has the highest drinking age in the world, but still manages to pass off cigarettes to 18 year olds. You can be arrested for drinking alcohol, but not for passing on secondhand smoke. The drinking age in this country needs to be lowered out sheer respect of an adults choice to make adult decisions.

My mother is both clever and insane, and me and my brother need to get away from her before she kills one or both of us. I am 17 and my brother is 15. She currently works in a highly unethical profession for a person in her situation (a chaplan at a hospital). She has not only threatened to kill me and my brother, but has abused both of us physically. She abuses us emothionally every single day, and i have suicidal thoughts whenever i am around her. The problem is that we really cant prove the abuse that she has dished out. We are very desperate to know what to do. My real father has divorced her and lives in atlanta, GA; and he wants us to live with him, but my mother wont let us go. Oh, and my mother lives in Augusta, Maine, so i dont know what the laws are there. Please help me, and tell me what to do!

i received a letter in the mail saying that i won 125,000 and in the letter was a check for 4875.00 that i can cash/deposit in my bank. i thought this was a fake but the check looked real. well i call the number from the letter and they said i won because i entered in some sweepstakes. so all i needed to do was take it to the bank i keep 2000.00 and the rest send back in taxes so i can get my 125,000.00. well the check had the name of a well known bank which i wont say. i go to the bank teller tells me i have to ask my supervisor if this is real and that we can cash it. supervisor said its ok give the customer what he needs. i kept 2000.00 then bank said lets save the rest until the check clears...check was fake at the end..Do I Owe The 2000.00 The Bank Gave Me even though it was there error in not checking the check enough...i am being charged the 2000.00 they say i owe them??? its there fault

ok my doctor wont sign my waver for wrestling. the waver is for my low body fat, if signs it, i get consent to wrestling the way iam w/ my body fat. but he being a dick and wont sign it. so im planning on forging his singnature so i can wrestle my desired weight class. its not hard at all its just, the principal has to sign it too, if she follows up and calls the doctor. and hes "like what the ****" i spefically remebering not signing that...can i get in leagle trouble??

This happened to me.
I did not work for that money, I tought its bad
fortune to keep money coming from my mothers insurance company.
I returned that money to the State of New Jersey by contribution.
Now I am in trouble, because the SSI office intimidates me to stop my check, because "I have had" $17 thousand dollar, but I did not report it.

Oh wow, I am not surprised that there is another case involving a middle age man with a 14 year old but If you look at these guys, there are reasons why they have sex with underage girls. Grown women do not want to have sex with these guys because of lack of attraction (for the most part), but maybe if we make prostitution clean and legal that would decrease the amount of cases that involve sexual acts against underage girls. What do you think about that? I know it will not elimate the problem entirely, but maybe just maybe it will decrease the number of cases. I have a problem with people sometimes because it seems like they do not want to get to the root of the problem and prevent future sexual acts. Our emotions is what stirrs us up against these predators, but if we get them help BEFORE the act occurs we could be safer. Punishment alone will not prevent future attacks.

I was shopping at walmart the other day for a few household and a few grocery items. One of those Items was eyeliner. My 3 year-old stuck the eyeliner in my purse at check out before I paid for it and I didn't see her do it and wasn't really thinking about it. The cashier (a grumpy old lady) did see her. Instead of saying, "mam your daughter put something in your purse" she didn't say a word but called the manager to stop me as I went out the door (since eyliner doesn't set off the alarm). He didn't ask If I wanted to pay he just said "Come with me miss"
He took me to the office and threatened to call the cops. I tried to explain to him that I didn't see my daughter put the item in my purse but he believed that I told her to do it as an excuse. I paid for the eyeliner because I did not intent to steal. but I got kicked out, never to go into walmart again.

Were they wrong for treating me this way over $3 eyeliner?
What can I do about it??
