If we had free health insurance in this country you wouldn't be having this problem! ~~~I know random...You'll have to pay it back.

Being in this field, I will tell you what you will expect. Depending on how much money you have "taken" cause this is what they consider it, you could be charged with unemployment fraud. But, depending on the state, you might just have to pay it back. There are other possibilities, like community service etc, but you will most definantly have to pay it back. They will also want to know why. So if you want to tell them the truth so be it, and if you dont better stick to that story. They work with the government so try not to dig yourself a deeper hole. Im not trying to scare you, just letting you know the basics. Personally you really couldnt be making that much from unemployment if you were still struggling to make bills so it should be simply paid off. Best of luck to you. Dont get too stressed over the situation, just deal with it. A year from now it will be forgotten.

you committed fraud.
it is people like you who take advantage of government services that make it hard for those who really need help.
you will have to pay back the overage and can be prosecuted.
sorry you had to take a lower paying job but a lot of us have had to do that the last few years. hopefully they will set up a payment schedule that will work for you and i hope you never have to go through this again.

They will probable ask for their money back. Than take you to court and garnish you wages until it is paid back.... thats with interest of course.

They will want to charge you with fraud, depending on how much will determine the degree and how much of an active roll you took in doing so.

You will be given a bill and told how long you have to pay it back. If you don't, they will prosecute you and you COULD go to jail. You committed a crime (fraud), which is punishable by jail time. They would rather get the money back, though.

You never know, they may just want to talk to you to see why your still drawing it. But if the did find out, at the very least you will have to pay them back.

You are going to have to pay it back, and you might have fines. I know when I appealed, I was provided a lawyer. You might look at getting one.
