I received a traffic violation for running a red light. The light was yellow and I felt the cop stopped me as a pretense to see if I was drunk.
When we went to court, he lied and said the light was red two seconds before I entered the interesection and then played the video of him stopping and me yelling out the window that the light was yellow and he should not haved stopped me at all.
The judge admonished me that I was rude and discourteous to the officer. Why would me disagreeing with a cop be introduced as evidence if I am on trial for running a red light.?

I hired a lawyer to represent me in a civil suite on a securities and exchange case. The first lawyer told me he was in over his head and wanted to pull in specialty lawyer so we did that. The new lawyer seemed to be very interested in my case.

I asked him how long would it be before I heard anything from him and he told me about 3 weeks. Well it has been 7 weeks and I have not heard a word. I sent him one email and asked him if he has made any progress and he did not respond.

Is this common practice among lawyers? He is being paid a percentage so I am out no money. But still I would like to know what kind of progress is being made or if he is taking this case or what. He told me he would send me a contract in the mail that has not shown up either. Do Lawyers let you know if they are taking the case after all or do they just expect you to catch on?

This is for all the lawyers reading this if you tell a client you will be in touch in a certain about of time do it.

Considering the numerous 'pardons' executed by past presidents, could this be done, remembering the "Execative Previlage".

Question #1

If the non custodial parent never paid child support, because the parent sign away his rights when the child was about 2 years of age, & the child is now 11, (8) years passed & a case was never opened, can the custodial parent (mom) file for child support??? She would have to give him his rights back first right???

Question #2

If the father is paying the mom child support for his child- the legal way, & mom goes to court & say she don't want anymore child support- she's not on assistance or anything, will the case stay open for the future in case if it doesn't go well with the parent (father), or you can't re-open it again once you close it?????

Thanks in advanced.

apparently all the major players have similar roles.
Greg Anderson trainer, as Susan Mcdougal, refused to testify and went to jail on blind loyalty.
Mike Rains, defense attorney attacked the prosecutors as Clinton and the legal counsel did with Ken Starr...
(quote) Every American should worry about a Justice Department that doesn't know if waterboarding is torture and can't tell the difference between prosecution on the one hand and persecution on the other," Rains said.

You can easily compare this statement with Hillary in Filegate
(quote)
"I've never seen these documents," Bonds said. "I've never seen these papers."
Clinton and Bonds, for some strange reason, both felt they didnt taint their proffessions.
(quote)This record is not tainted at all," Bonds declared. "At all. Period."
As these situations are eerily similar, what advice should Bill give?

Th utterly appalling mass murder in the defenceless Laos village during the USA 60's onslaught of murder and abuse throughout SE Asia ? Not everyone forgets, and fields in Laos where such beautiful honourable people try to get on with their lives are still full of pepper bomblets dropped by US planes which explode in the faces of present day farming people. Often women working the fields carrying children. Why hasnt USA been made to amend their abuses, clean up their filthy mess and give aid ?

My mother died in June leaving no will. My parents divorced 30yrs ago and my mother raised her 3 children alone (on a pension) whilst my father paid the mortgage on our 'family' home and went on to make his fortune. The deeds of the house remained in both names - ie. joint tenancy. On several occasions before my mother's passing, my father stated that he considered the house to belong to my mother... though now owns 100% of it since the deeds were in both names. He is not honouring his word by passing my mother's 'estate' (ie. house, as she had no other investments) to his children. Do we have any recourse given that it was our family home for 30yrs and we are the next of kin?

I was exiting a parking garage on campus when the automated gate fell on top of my new Toyota corolla. When I got home I found that the roof was scratched up bad. I called the campus security office and when I told them what happened they told me that because I didn’t file a police report right then the parking garage couldn’t be held liable. When I asked if the video surveillance cameras could be use to prove the fact they told me "they're not big on that" what rights do I have here?

The "law" that I've been paying taxes for over 50 years turned against us recently as a detective came to my friends home with extremely lewd and obnoxiously explicit allegations from this female friends stepson. Why can't the detective see through the lies he told? Don't they do a thing to protect innocent people anymore?
Now, the friend has to hire an expensive criminal attorney, as the person causing all the trouble allegedly was interviewed by this detective. The lies were so "Jerry Springer" that they made the father of this child practically laugh in the detectives face.
Meanwhile, I'm being harrassed by local law enforcement with 180 turnabouts and close surveillience as I drive through the town doing volunteer work.
I feel like something real wrong has happened to America when liars are allowed to abuse the system and waste taxpayers money in such incompetence.
Are we doing enough? Can we file harassment charges? Isn't it criminal to file false police reports?

Our legal system is designed to be fair and to remain honorable. that was the intent of law. I seriously cant see human sacrifice, as justice. thats what capital punishment entails, you will always have a multitiude of innocents executed. over 160 death row inmates have been proven inoocent. so how many have we killed so far. Yes you have to provide justice and care about the victims and families of the but they have no right or voucher to a human life< thats not justice, If I went to walmart and screamed out slurs against colored people is it right that colored people can pick any random white person walking the street and blame them for it? I mean this is really is coming down to for some cases. I cant b e convinced that the death penalty is fair. Its deseigned to harm a human being and quick self assurance, not justice. Fact supporting the death penalty is supporting the possibility of killing innocents. where is the justice for the innocencts accused?
