how can i as an 18 year old american play an active roll in the legalization of marijuana?
p.s. please don't reply saying i'm a "stoner" or i was high when i wrote this because there would be so many advantages to the legalization of this herb and i beleave those topics have already been discussed in other questions. i'm just askin how i can help. thx

We all have the opportunity of a life time RIGHT NOW. This January and February, you need to go to your state primaries and vote for RON PAUL. He's a libertarian running in the Republican party. He's also against the war. But he's vowed to make sure that all non-violent drug crimes be ommitted because it isnt the governments responsibility to regulate what we put in our own bodies. He's also in other words said that Marijuana would no longer be a federal crime. We need to get this man elected as president, not just because of his stance against the war on drugs, but because of the 100 other issues that he's right about. Look him up and dont forget to vote.

I tell people not to act like smoking marijuana is a bad thing and tell people what you believe in. I been fighting a long time and some people you just cant get throw to, if you can change peoples mind you will have made a difference. I tell everyone i smoke marijuana my family, friends, police, anyone who asks. i fell its nothing to be ashamed of.

Get in touch with like-minded people. Go about with a signature campaign. Talk about the positive aspects of the drug when used in appropriate quantity. Spread the "Gospel" and may be one day you will succeed in your objectives. Good luck !!!!

Vote for people who agree with you. Help in their campaigns, try to change the minds of more than 50% of voters.
I don't think it will ever happen, but that would be the way to do it.

Get the government to tax it.They do it with cigs,which are a lot worse for you than any pot.You'll be able to buy it at any shop then.
