My finance company had sent out a repo man (while I was at work) so he never took my vehicle but that same day I caught up my payments- now i've been charged $75 for a repo fee. Can this happen although it wasn't taken??

Yes and also interest on the late fees.

The fee was for the persons time that came out to repo your vehicle. It is probably in your contract in "really" small print. Probably has wording something like "you are responsible for all fees related to repossession of said vehicle".

OH yes.....you can look at this fee as another late fee on top of late fee. You may call the company and ask them to waive this fee if you intend and do make all of the remaining payments on time.

Look in your contract, the loan documents. It should specify what charges are possible there.
