The reports they give are not for the government, but showing the injustice that private citizens are suffering at the hands of the government. One for example are veterans who are injured in war and not given the full benefits that they should receive. Or a state that is forcing parents to immunize their children or face a $50 fine a day for not doing it even though there are laws protecting those by their religious beliefs or medical concerns. How is this biased reporting?

My son needs to undergo some counseling and pass an evaluation before he can have unsupervised visits, but he is having trouble getting the counseling.

If he wants to see his daughter (4 years old) he has to travel two hours to the town where she lives and visit with her at the YMCA building there. He's unable to travel 2 hours every weekend to see her. Is it possible to go to court and have his supervised visits moved to another town or alternated between towns so he's not doing all the driving all the time?

I walked into an agency that required me to have at least a years worth of employment with one company. The last company that I worked for, only lasted 6 months. My petty theft conviction was obtained, earlier this year, and I was thinking of using my cousin's limo business as a reference, so that I can get this job. For some reason they are taking me through alot, and I've been told by an employee there, that they are basically discriminating against me, more so because of my femininity than because if my record. After all, what am I going to do, stick a piece of scrap metal in my underwear and walk out with it? My record has nothing to do with a welding position. I'm not applying at a bank. My cousin does have her own licensed limo business, and I have worked with her, as far as cleaning out limos and doing driving jobs for her, but the business is slowing down and not much money is coming in. I worked for her off and on, for a few years, but got paid in cash. Can I still use her?

I usually steer clear of asking or answering religious or political questions but this has been on my mind so here goes:

Why do some people rationalize everything with "because Jesus said so in the bible"? I know a girl in one of my classes yesterday and the topic was gay marriage. She said gay marriage is wrong and shouldn't be allowed because the bible says its wrong and Jesus doesn't like gay marriage. Same goes for abortion (but she's FOR capital punishment).

Do some people not realize that not EVERYONE is a Christian. Not EVERYONE believes in the bible so why should EVERYONE have to live their life by it.? Isn't there a separation of church and state? So why does she believe that laws should be based on the bible?

Like I said, I usually stay away from political and religious questions but I just had to ask his one.

I made a written statement to an investigator 4 months ago about a friend of mine who was doing some identity theft as she called it. I wasn't the main person and i havn't been called to any of the court date for him unlike the other person who is basically the main witness. I would like to retract the statement because i really remember what was going on truely and i could rather not have nothing to do with it. It's been 4 months and i've moved on with my life. So i'm trying to see how do i get the statement just removed?

Consider the following. Say you want someone's pin number. You give them a choice to either give the pin number or submit to torture. The person chooses torture. The person knows that if he/she throws out a false pin number to stop the torture you will be able to verify that you're being lied to (since the pin doesn't work), and that person will be punished for lying. However, if the person give a right pin number the first time, the person will suffer less torture than if he lied. The person then reasons that:

If I'm being tortured, and the infomation I give out while being tortured CAN BE VERIFIED, then it is to my advantage to tell the truth.

Do you agree?

I have always had a tickling fetish, and there were girls I went to grade school with who I really wanted to tickle or at least know if they were ticklish on their feet. But I was an outcast and too timid to grab the girls and tickle them because they would probably have somebody beat me up.

I had this idea recently of using one of those "people search" websites, find these girls I went to school with and basically say "I always had a tickling fetish and always wanted to know how ticklish your feet are, so how ticklish are they", and give my return mailing address in case they choose to respond.

Firstly would I be looking at any legal consequences if they got offended, (these women will probably barely remember me if at all since I'm 34 now)? And if not legal consequences, how likely is it that if they got offended they'd send someone to beat me up (maybe in that case I should get a PO Box for my return address)?

the Constitution has no such thing but says simply "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof?"
In other words, for those of you that say "Seperation of Church and State!", they will not make any religion the main one of the US. That is why the US is not a Chrisitan Nation even though the majority is Christian. It says nothing that people cannot be religous upon entering the office, or going by their own personal beliefs when passing laws and such.

I'm asking for opinions, not needless rants of the mindless in an attempt to act intelligent. Not addessing everyone, just hoping for respectible answers.

My point is, in the news, a man on Death Row yesterday, got saved because people think it is inhumaine to kill him by leathal injection, but he is on death row for killing a child.

But in this Country it is legal to kill a fetus, that clearly has a heartbeat, and is a growing life inside a woman's body. That it is not inhumaine to murder and tear apart a fetus, but it's perfectly ok for a man to stay alive after killing a little boy.

Where is the logic in this, I just don't understand the logic of the mindless that defend a man for killing a child but, women can walk into a facility even at as late as 17 weeks pregnant, and kill their child without punishment. What the hell is wrong with people?

I want intelligence in opinion, not the rantings of the intellectually impaired, and try to be nice please!

for reasons that I won't get into here we have decided to buy some land and live in a 26' tipi. we plan to "modernize it buy also buying a large shed to put the modern items in (toilet/tub/shower, washer dryer, microwave, oven/stove, dishwasher, sink and fridge/freezer. then Attach the shed to the tipi via "hallway" which my husband can build. We have thought out every detail, even decided we would still have cable and internet. We'd put a medium size flat screen tv inside the tipi.
we would even be able to run a space heater if it got too cold...but I can only imagine the number of "other reasons" the state could make an issue out of if they got wind of how we were choosing to live.
would they have any legal grounds to come after our children?
Other than outside of our alternative housing they would have every other advantage that any other kid would have.
we are not poor...we make good money, we just choose to live this way.
here's where we are planning to buy from http://www.tipi.com/

My friend voluntarily checked into a hospital with symptoms of depression and had suicidal thoughts, therefore, he was place on a "hold". He was in this hospital for 5 weeks and felt better than ever. He was then transfered to Blackfoot State Hospital in Idaho and has been there for a week. He's not seen a Dr. nor has he been evaluated. The place is extremely dangerous as well as full of extremely ill patients. He wants to leave but we don't know what type of crime this would be or what his rights are. Also, we would like to know what type of Attorney would handle a case such as this. The irony of it all is that he himself is a Psychologist.
