can i used my plumbing license from canada to work in the states?

To work in the US you'll first of all need a visa that grants you authority to work. Then, to work as a plumber you'll either need to be hired by someone with a plumbing contractors license, or get your own. A contractors license from one state isn't even good in another US state, let alone a foreign one.
