I bought an item online but cancelled it before dispatch and this was confirmed.
Now I see on my bank statement that I've been charged for the item. I've e-mailed them stating I want my money back but they are ignoring me.
So should I say I will be contacting my Lawyer or contacting Trading Standards.

is it legal for other sites, without a person's permission to take their myspace or facebook pictures and post it on another site or elsewhere?
i've heard of cases where celebrities have sued others who have taken their head and put naked bodies on them on various sites.
there is this one site. http://myspaceprofiles.org/profiles/
and it took all of the info off of people's myspace's and posted it on there site.
however at the bottom of the site it says it is not part of myspace.
you can't cancel your account on myspaceprofiles.org.
so the question is, if you haven't asked for it, even if it is public information, you aren't allowed to steal it. this has to be unethical or against the law or something.
please let me know!!!

What are my odds of being sentenced to a year in jail? I did something really dumb and now I have to go to court. I can't receive a one year sentence or more as I would face deportation because I'm a permanent legal resident and not a U.S. citizen.

What is everyone's take on hiring a cleaning service if both people in the house work full time jobs. How much should you pay? how often should they come? Why do men feel like they are doing thier wife a favor by letting them get one when we get them so they can do the share of his work he doesn't do?

I've talked to people in 3 different countries that say we're being lied to that they don't have to wait and it's great to not worry about it when you need it. Families I know are paying 500-1000 per month for coverage and then have a deductable on top of that. There is no way this is not being controlled by greed and corporate power, we are being robbed! And the people who are insured don't think they can be turned away from being covered for procedures, think again! It happens everyday.

i got repossessed. there was a heavy negative equity of £34,000 and they are chasing me for the full amount, me and only me, i dont work and remarried but my husband refusses to pay for the place that had nothing to do with him, which i totally understand. we cant afford to pay another bill either. they sent me a letter and told me they are going to add another £24,000 as interest in what is owed. is there a limit when this debt can be written off? they have hounded me now for over 10 years, how can i give what i havent got and my ex is working full time with no commitments and he gets away scott free.

BOSTON - The winner of a $1 million lottery scratch ticket may not be so lucky after all: He's a convicted bank robber who isn't supposed to gamble. Timothy Elliott faces a Dec. 7 court hearing over whether he violated his probation when he bought the $10 ticket for the $800 Million Spectacular game at a supermarket in Hyannis.

Elliott was placed on five years' probation after pleading guilty in October 2006 to unarmed robbery for a January 2006 heist at a bank on Cape Cod. Under terms of his probation, he "may not gamble, purchase lottery tickets or visit an establishment where gaming is conducted, including restaurants where Keno may be played."

Okay, so I'm making a music video for school using the song "Shoes". I'll be editing it to get rid of some of the language. I was wondering if it turns out to be a hit at school, and if I could burn the video to some CD's and sell them for $3 each, would it be illegal? I'm in 7th grade, btw.

I've just about had it. This morning 4 out of 7 women that work for me called in sick. Reason? Their "cycle".
Can I just fire all of them and replace them with men that don't have the same problem?

found my son's picture on the internet??????

i am having a problem with my EX. he is on a 100% mental disablity, has been arrested, tried and convicted for beating me up. i've had restraining orders against him in 2 states, he has stalked me long distance. he constantly takes me to court with false allegations, it just goes on and on.

now i found out he just put up a MYSPACE account with a picture of my elementary school aged child. he listed himself as "single", although he is married (she's #6 or #7), just based on the information i know.

i have some grave concerns about him and the internet and how he always seems to have boys around the same age with him, yet he has 4 sons, one of which is in prison, that have nothing to do with him.

he's around 60.

i have full custody. i don't want my child's picture on the internet. just wondering, does anyone know if this is illegal?

AUS -less population than america thus less demanding on environment and less carbon emissions
USA -almost over populated with a massive burden on the environment and exponentially growing carbon emissions
AUS -less rediculous laws and far fewer courts
USA -throws anyone in jail after thier third offence (even if a minor offence)
AUS -less antagonistic of other cultres
USA -attacks any country it dont agree with
AUS -multi cultural and proud of it
USA -doesnt care where you come from but you gotta speak english once you get here
USA -claims to be free yet are scared of thier government
AUS -govt scared of people and does what WE SAY,
