They can file a lawsuit for about anything now a days. Can they win it is the real question. I think if the doctor is taking adequate precautions, then no, they would have a hard time winning. But that's just my opinion.

You can file a lawsuit for anything. Winning the lawsuit is another matter.

And that's the problem with our society.. being sue happy!
Unless the Doctor is putting you in harms way in some way, NO!
Plus, that person needs to become educated about AIDS and the transmissions.
Bottom line... that person needs to grow-up!

Why?

Unless they are putting you in harm's way by bleeding on you (in which case you should find a new doctor anyway), I don't see how you can sue them for not disclosing their private health information to you.
