I had a vehicle leased for 36 months. After the first year, I was behind by 3 months and voluntarily surrendered the vehicle so it would not be repossessed. Now, I've gotten a bill saying that I owe not only the back payments and an early termination fee, but also the amount of the rest of the lease. Am I really responsible to pay the rest of the lease on a car I've already surrendered? I thought that was the purpose of the early termination fee. Please help me out.

I had started a new job last week. Anyway, i was told that my first 90 days was a probationary period. The company went on 3 point system. 3 points and your gone. well, my first week i missed one day due to hospital reasons. i followed up, cause they needed a note in order to return to work. That was one point. Just the other day, i ended up having what i thought was a heart attack. I was rushed to the hospital, missed another day, that was another point. Well, when i talked to my wife, she had told me that my employer decided to terminate me. The reason i was told was i wasn't doing my job when i really was. They terminated me for that reason cause they said they couldn't use "medical reasons" for a cause to terminate. I have proof cause my father in law works there too. They terminated me on 2 points, and not 3. Can they do that? Also, someone told my father in law that i wasn't doing my job, and that person doesn't even work in the same building. Any legal advice?

How do you feel about his speech saying that we ought to adopt Muslim ways, arranged marriages, alcohol restraint, obedience, raising children within boundaries etc etc ? How dare he try to preach his values - we have seen the result of their raising children within boundaries over the last few years! They have effectively murdered so many of the hands that tried to help them become a part of this nation. His rant is because Jonathan Evans of M15 has made some very worthy speech and this doesn't suit Abdul Bari's sensibilities! Well tough because we are getting pretty sick of listening to 15th century dictat and to hearing how Muslim women are treated as less than the family dog and i for one am no longer willing to be quiet - Muslim girls need to be educated away from this - just the same as Roman Catholic girls had to be educated away from male persecution and believing that it was their fault if a man molested or raped them. I am not nor ever have been a feminist. I was a catholic

i came to work, maybe i should have just called off in the first place, but i came in. i got lightheaded and dizzy. i told the mangager/supervisor on duty that i felt sick and had to leave. well i left and when i came back they said i walked off my job. to boot they said i tried to grab a child. what happened is i was scanning some items and a child had a ball and it looked like they were going to scan the ball over the scanner again.so i pushed the ball away. ok maybe i was a little too forceful.iget very nervous and jumpy at work. i wouldnt cause anyone any harm. i hope they didnt mean that i was being violent. i got frustrated with the scanner when it didnt work. i got all worked up and yes,you could say i had a fit. i just dont know what to do now.

A bank has a policy that they will not cash checks written on customer accounts unless the person cashing the check stands on one leg while singing the chinese national anthem. The rationalise this by saying it shows the person has good humor and is not likely to be cashing a fraudulent check. What approaches would you consider to win this case if representing the person wanting to cash the check?

For a cheer fundraiser, two moms told us that each of us have to sell 10 tickets to our car wash at $5 each. Even if we don't sell all 10 of our tickets, we must come to the coaches with $50. If we don't bring the $50 to them, we have to do after school clean up for who knows how long. Between freshmen, JV, and Varsity, there are about 55 of us. That means 550 tickets are expeted to be sold. The carwash lasts 6 hours (with about 10 people working at a time). With these numbers, each car would have to be washed in oh, a little under 45 seconds. Come on now, let's get realistic.

What do you think?
I mean, I know life isn't fair, but this... is just crazy.

I've been disabled for 3 years. After the first 6 months, I lost my job, and insurance. Since then I have had no prescription coverage. Due to lack of prescription coverage, I have not been able to buy my medications. I have a disability hearing coming up, and need to know if not taking my medications, for not being able to afford them, will affect my being able to get my disability. If so, what can I do to have a positive outcome at social security disability hearing.

I just was just pulled over for a STOP sign violation like an hour ago and I am freaking out!!

First, from a scale of 1-10 (1 being very minor and 10 being very major), how major is a STOP sign violation?
and

How much does it cost to pay off or how can I get it fixed?? Do I have to go to court??

*I don't know if it's relevant, but this happened in California.

My cousin just got released from prison. He was in there for 5 years. He had 18 felonies and 3 misdemetors . so a total of 21 charges. i guess being in prison for that long really gave him a rude awakining because he really wants to change his life around. He is very discouraged though. he doesnt think any one will hire him because of his criminal record. He is willing to try anything to change his life around and we both know that the first step is to get a job. Does he still have a chance?

is this true? I can't remember any links, but it's common at any "new world order" websites where "the truth" is being brought to our attention. Any law-knowledgable people know for sure if this is true? Thanks a million.

id our founding fathers want a system of government where any high priced lawyer can find a loophole to get off his client who was caught red handed?
Like the guy who escaped from court, killed a sherriff shot the judge and 2 innocent people, and misused all his money only to currently have his trial suspended!

Or O.J. who orgnaized a group, went into a room defying the legal recourse.

WE NEED A NEW SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT WHERE..
The arraingment process should be as easy as...

JUDGE ASKS:
Did you escape from court? YES OR NO?
Did you shoot the Sherriff? Yes or No?
Did you shoot other civilians? Yes or NO?

When theres overwhelming proof, it should all be settled during the arraingment.

The GUILTY shouldnt be allowed to exploit every loophole toa flawed legal system, should they?

to society?...convicted felons can't vote, can't travel to certain countries, can't join the armed forces, can't become a cop, can't ever own a gun even if they weren't convicted of a violent crime, long-time legal permanent residents could be get deported if they do at least a year in prison(used to be 5 years before the 1996 laws), etc..and the list goes on. Does the U.S. government think that people can never change and so we must punish them for the rest of their lives? Are "good moral character" requirements in reality "perfection" requirements? It's like saying "We know you were 19 at the time of the involuntary manslaughter, but we don't care that you're 56 now and that you're a better person"...

castration..?

in my opinion rapists obviously don't know what "woman" means.. yes i am using this word as a term because that's what it is for them..

they use women like objects (sex toys) and even if they feel guilty after they move on, get a wife, have kids... my teacher here in israel told me that she read an article about 4 guys that raped this girl in their class and got only a few months punishment!...apparently one of those guys was once in my teacher's elementary school and in her class. he is now in what? his 30's? does anyone remember him, what he did? what about the girl? does anyone even care? NO why should we time goes on... he's probobly having a blast with his wife and kids..

it's so wrong! that a rapists has "fun" once, is put in a little cell in bt 0.001% to 1% of his life, and then he finds a wife as if nothing happened and has children and lives happily ever after. while the victim remembers it 50 years after!

these people don't deserve children.
