How do you feel about his speech saying that we ought to adopt Muslim ways, arranged marriages, alcohol restraint, obedience, raising children within boundaries etc etc ? How dare he try to preach his values - we have seen the result of their raising children within boundaries over the last few years! They have effectively murdered so many of the hands that tried to help them become a part of this nation. His rant is because Jonathan Evans of M15 has made some very worthy speech and this doesn't suit Abdul Bari's sensibilities! Well tough because we are getting pretty sick of listening to 15th century dictat and to hearing how Muslim women are treated as less than the family dog and i for one am no longer willing to be quiet - Muslim girls need to be educated away from this - just the same as Roman Catholic girls had to be educated away from male persecution and believing that it was their fault if a man molested or raped them. I am not nor ever have been a feminist. I was a catholic

Joh W - you really need to read his speech before you make this comment. I have always believed in free speech but i am very mindful of what happened in the 1930's in Europe with free speech helping to eradicate the Jewish nation. Sometimes it goes too far without challenge!

Open your eyes -- you really need to. This stupid man has been widely reported in the papers today and no-one has a good word to say in his defence - he has stated the indefensible!

I'm not a little fed up with these people. They enslave their women folk under the guise of modesty and treat them as if they are stupid and to ensure it they refuse education to them and are afraid to let them out on their own under the guise of protection. Many of them came here for their descendants to live a better and more prosperous life and now they want to turn our Country into the fly blown fishing villages their ancestors were glad to leave.
Given that Christian priests do not get paid by the state nor are they entitled to state benefits I would ask why these people are allowed to accquire so much and claim benefits

Lets be sensible here, this guy, Bari, is stating his opinion, whether we like it or not, HE HAS EVERY RIGHT TO!!
a lot of lives have been given to secure this right, I'm not sure who the quote comes from but it is very true in this case "i may not like what the guy says but I'll fight to the death to protect his right to say it!!" (I know the quote is not 100% but I'm sure you'll get it)
At the end of the day, is it any different than the Pope saying his version of how to live or the Archbishop of Canterbury giving his opinion on how to live, the fact that this guy is a Muslim is irrelevant..
As soon as we stop allowing free speech, we become the very thing we are fighting against, THAT would worry me a lot more than some guy sharing his views on the world in which we live...
(P.S. I'm not religious)
P.P.S. People have to stop confusing Muslim's and the fanantics that use that religion to further their own ends (YOU SAY YOU WERE BROUGHT UP CATHOLIC, DID THAT MAKE YOU AN IRA BOMBER??)

As we now know, the poor woman has been spared, apart from 15 days imprisonment. I rather think that pressure has been applied by the likes of Dr Bari and, possibly, the Sudanese Ambassador to Britain. This is a good result for all civilised people of whatever religion or race and a bad result for the trouble makers and ranters. Good!

He should really tell that to his own people within the UK. London is full of Muslims who drink alcohol and gamble. Is he abiding by the laws of the Quran regarding the use of meat?
What he fails to understand is that the next generation of British muslims will have more in common with the children that he is having a go at in the UK. It's what happens when races intermingal with each other, regardless of religion.

The UK is a Christian country with it's own heritage and culture.
As the saying goes, "When in Rome"...
Why doesn't islam mention that Mohammed slept with his nine year old wife when they try to force their culture on the West?
Because they know what a 50 year old man who sleeps with children is regarded as by society and law.

He may just get his way. Sharia law already exists in some forms in the UK.
Islamic sharia law is gaining an increasing foothold in parts of Britain:
