My daughter was caught last night drinking underage by a forest ranger. She is 16 years old and almost 17. She was caught with 4 of other kids. The ranger only gave her a ticket for $125 smiliar to a speeding ticket. I was wondering if the charge would be recorded on her record and any other information that can be provided.

She has been unable to bring about even minor peace talks between any warring factions anywhere in the world; she backs up and stands behind all of the lies and misinformatoin spread by Bush and Cheney and their cronies in the oil business; she was unable to dissuade the oil rich hunt family from signing lucrative greed contracts with the kurds and she absolutely has failed to convince anyone in Iraq to form a meaningful government with the goal of bringing peace to that nation.

should she be required to pay back the millions of dollars the taxpayers have given her?

So, my friend stole a credit card from this restaurant last night because someone left it there and used it to buy a 60 dollar video game. Will the credit card companies call this place and look at the cameras, and if he does get caught, what kind of time is he looking at? Also, what if he goes and returns it, would it be too late? If you give me a blank check, and tell me to go buy myself a car, and when I show up, none of the cars have prices on them, I'm going to be spending a lot of extra money, right?

Health care costs are out of control because consumers don't really care how much things cost, because someone else is paying for them directly while their costs go up in the long run as a result. People price shop for breast augmentation and vision repair surgery , but not for cardiovascular surgery. The difference is self pay vs insurance pay.

I realize that this isn't the ONLY issue, however I think its substantial.

I was driving to work, I'd been behind this car doing 42 miles an hour for like 20 minutes, when i saw a chance to pass safely, i did, yes i probly did hit 70 passing, as i was getting back in front of car starting to slow down, a cop, hiding on the side of the road with his lights all out, turns on his lights, blues and pulls me over, he was very rude, said i was doing 80, i said, no i may of got to 70 in passing , told me not to tell him how to do his job i had no excuss for speeding, I told him i wasn't , i was passing. anywaay later i look at the ticket, and you can see my information or the officers, only court information and amount they are charging

If a school is going to charge money for parents to buy copies of school plays and graduation ceremonies, shouldn't the students be getting a cut? If they aren't, doesn't that student who cares have the right to a share?

Do you think that Hillary or any of her family or cronies would wait for extended periods of time in a hospital waiting room due to the large quantity of people there waiting for their free treatment? ER staff can tell you that the people that get free medical treatment abuse this "free" treatment and visit the ER for minor afflictions.

Do you think that she would go to just any doctor for treatment or do you think she would seek out the best doctor? Well, under socialized health care the best doctors leave to freer countries that have better opportunities for them.

Do you think that she would be happy with drug companies ceasing research and development of new medicines because they are "hindered by price control and regulations"?

Do you think she or any of her obese cronies would want to be banned from eating the way they want to eat because "too much fat in the diet is a health risk and should be regulated by the government to keep health care costs down"? Fat chance.

I have just been let go from a company after finishing my 3 month probation. The reason they gave me was that there was not enough work for me do and for overhead reasons would have to let me go. What upsets me is that they should have realised from the beginning that the role would not progress into anything else, and in that case I should of been hired as a temp instead of a full time employee.

5 other people started with me and they were all kept on. I was supposed to be told on the 6th of Nov (exactly 3 months on the job) weather I was successful or not, instead they told me 2 days later; therefore I was under the impression that I was safe. If they had told me on the probation deadline day then I would of at least begin to look for another role. So my question is can I challenge there decision because their reason is not a reason at all, but seems to be something personal. Or are they in their rights as they can get rid of someone after 3 months without haveing a good reason.

here is a link lets get this petition signed and force congress to hand over complete control of tobacco to the FDA. It will make everyone happy, no more second hand smoke and no more bogus tax increases on tobacco users. I am a smoker and support this 100%, the government is trying justify another increase with children healthcare. If they get there way another .39 cents a pack. I think enough is enough and why do they continue to allow this poison to be sold to citizens. It is a big game and I have emailed multiple news groups, cancer society and have received no responses because they are just as bad as the government, fear of losing tax payers dollars for tobacco. This is big business and as a smoker you should be pissed that they are taking advantage of us. Lets stand together and rid the US of this poison.

So the scenario was that my friend had an expired drivers license so he asked me to drive his sister's car, which I felt uncomfortable doing in the first place, and on top of that his friends were carrying illegal stuff on them. Me being the good friend that I am took matters into my hands and drove to the concert we were going to. When we finally parked thinking we were at the right spot, we all drank our beers and found out we were in the wrong area. We got back in the car and I drove more, I backed into a pole and dented my friend's sister's car pretty bad. She doesn't even know it..yet, until tommorow. I'm really broke and I know I probabbly shouldnt have drove but I felt bad. I know it's my fault for not saying anything, but should I be totally at fault and have to pay for all the damages? I am broke, I didn't want to drive in the first place, and I drank when I got back in the car and my friend knew. I need advice, and I can't afford to pay for a bumper right now. Help!

I HAVE NO CRIMINAL HISTORY AND IT WAS DUE TO AN ERROR ON MY DD 214 WHICH I GAVE A WRITTEN EXPLANATION FOR IT AND 2 PPL THEY COULD CALL 2 VERIFY IT, THEY NEVER DID NOR DID THEY SAY THEY HAD MY EXPLANATION FOR IT BECAUSE THE FIRST APPLICATION WAS LOST THEN I FAXED A SECOND ONE AND THAT HAD THE EXPLANATION ON THAT ONE. BUT WHEN THEY INTERVEIWED ME BY PHONE SOMEHOW THEY HAD MY 1RST APPLICATION AND WENT OFF THAT ONE., SO STUFF WAS MISSING THAT THE SECOND APP HAD. DOESNT SEEM FAIR. HELP ME! i would like to know the legal side of these scenarios. if a person rejects a blood transfusion, knowing he/she will die then,isnt it suicide somehow?

and if parents wont let their kids have a blood transfusion,knowing the child will die without it,isnt that manslaughter?

Philippines is filled with poor people. They can oly access entertaiment by buying pirated DVDs and VCDs. However the government is quite active in catching the vendors of these items. For me, it's like the government saying "You poor people have no right watching movies, movies are for the rich only (at least middle class)." I just want to know your ideas.

Can anyone out there tell me if it is possible to copyright the content and approach of walking tours?

This has become a concern since one of the big bus b**** practically admitted he was going to steal the premise of the walks and upmarket them (`slick them up a bit`)

I`ve been trying for yonks to tie in with one of the big bus companies and slick up the walks a bit, whilst keeping a lot of the information and educational values.

How do I stop the sharks from pinching not only the idea but the approach/information/selection and presentation of information?

The walks` DVD has an ISBN. But the walks themselves unique as they are are very, very vulnerable to theft.

Do anyone know about this? Any copyright lawyers out there willing to take this onf or me?

I Recently Got Convicted Of Driving Under The Influence Of Alcohol, Therefore My Driver License Is Suspended Until November 18 Of 2008. I Went To The Department Of Motor Vehicles To Apply For A Restricted License So I Can Go To Skool. Now It Takes Me 3 Hours To Go To Skool On The Bus :-(. The Lady Told Me That Im Not Able To Get One Because Im 19 Years Old And They Have A Zero-Tolerance Policy On Alcohol For People Under 21 Years Old. Is There Any Other Way For Me To Get A Restricted License???

My sister is executor of my deceased mother's estate. She, my brother and I have inherited my mother's half of the house (co-owned with my aunt who continues to live there) and my mother's effects. My sister is refusing to allow me to help go through my mother's belongings and will not even allow me to enter the house. My brother, sister and cousins went through all the belongings today but refused to allow me entrance. My brother has told me that they feel that since my sister has children, she is entitled to any family heirlooms. She also plans to take my mother's car home with her. I have not been given a copy of the will or any concrete information. Do I have a right to enter the house and make sure they aren't taking things? Can I force a sale of the house? What are my rights?
