Most people don't know this occupation or don't post the salary because expert witnesses can write their own paychecks.

selling cigarettes to minors (under 18s) are illegal right? but how bout the minor (under 18), if he/she goes to a shop and asks for cigarettes is that illegal? and can he/she get arrested or something? is under 18 buying cigarettes illegal? or is it just only the seller.

what will happen to me? jail? um , should i file for bankruptcy if I cant pay and I am in debt with other stuff? any help would be awesome. I would pay it slowly but they are demanding court fees, and lawyer fees. I am not in the same state either, so this is the first I have caught wind of this since I lost the car. HELP!

I have always wondered about this because if I pay for an item, in my opinion it should be my property to do with as I please. It should be no different than a hat I wear into their store but purchased elsewhere and do not have a receipt for. I should not have to prove that I did not steal, they should have to prove I did.

OK serious question: Why are we bothering to enforce drugs and prositution?

The bottom line is these can NEVER be stopped. (If you think they can you are delusional and not liveing in reality.) Just ask any drug dealer you can bust him or her all you want and there will be 10 people coming in to fill his or her place.

As a bonus drugs and prostitution could be taxed and thus the government could MAKE money as opposed to spedning (i.e wasting!) money!

Why not just not just enforce: murders, roberies, burglaries. kid naping, domestic violence etc.?

Looking forward to all you red necks answering although you KNOW I am right! lol!

I have a contract with a company to design their website, the contract has a bullet point that says the webmaster (me) will update all content provided by said company as well as 25 other bullet points. i had been receiving emails from this company throughout the contract for changes / updates / errors, the bulk contract was supposed to be 22 days to be completed. after 22 days i only had about half of the contract done and had told them, they were requesting too many changes and i will only fix errors until the contract was completed... a month goes by and i hardly get any thing else on the contract completed due to their changes (they didn't stop) and they ask for another update. i send another email saying, this contract needs to be completed so i will not look at any other changes / updates until i am done. since then, i have been receiving emails that i am "in breach of the contract" and they are taking me to court over the last 2 months i have received 210 emails for changes...

I personally think the Bill Gates Foundation should start focusing on American infants first and then spreading the other Billions of dollars to other countries....these babies are dying becuase of the improper healthcare and treatment whiles millions amd millions of dollars are going over seas...and i do understand its VERY bad over there but i think the foundation needs to support its own countrty first...WE ARE DROPPING ON ALL KINDS OF CHARTS THROUGH OUT THE WORLD.......WHAT HAPPENED?!?!?!!??!

my ex gave me herpes,and didn't tell me that she was infected until 3 months into the relationship.we at first used protection but stopped when we became "exclusive",and i trusted that she would tell me something as serious as herpes in the very beginning,especially knowing from the very start about my situation.she knew from the start that i was on immunosupressives(2 kidney transplants),and when she eventually told me she said she wanted to wait until the "right time came along" as opposed to befor.i can't take anything to help because it will interfere with my meds.i'm not sure i want to procede with any legal matter,but i'm curious as to what i COULD do should i decide to follow up with this.had i known from the very beginning i would've used protection from the start of our relationship to the end.i can't take that risk.i find it reprehensible that someone could do something like this,and it infuriates me that she can be so callous about this.thank you for any help you may provide

My sons father quit his job, a pretty good job I might add, because he and his fiance broke up. -She worked in the same place.

Anyway now he is planning on being a truck driver and is going to be out of work for a few months and making god knows what afterward.

Will he have to make up the money that he isn't paying or is it just gone?

I am concerned because it has put me in a financial bind.

My sister has been denied her breaks at work. What are the laws? Yesterday she worked 5pm to 10:30pm and she asked for her 15 minute bring and they got snotty with her and told her "we don't have time for breaks" Today the denied her a break again. She just started this job and doesn't want the employer not to like her cause she wants to someday be hired for full time. Let me know any sites to look at or what the laws are.

Okay so I'm an intern for a company that manufactures chemicals for semiconductors. I graduate in May and have been offered a position for a company that manufactures chemicals for consumer products. I'm not sure if I signed a non-compete agreement. I will ask on Monday but if I did is there anyway to get out of it or would it count. I'm not sure if they are the same industry or not. My dad is employed at a celebrities ranch and hasn't been paid his wages in over four months with no excuse except that "payroll is on its way". Can he claim penalties for the delay. I can't find anything on the internet except penalties for delayed wages when an employee quits. That's not the case since my dad continues to work out of loyalty.

the lady ahead of me looks left and turns right, I turn my head quickly left to see that I was still clear, see there are no cars and I start heading out as well, when BAM!.I guess she decided not to pull out after all .I rear ended her at less than 5mph. No damage to her car,a little paint on mine and a damaged headlight cover. (my right front hit her left back, she was a bit out of the lane when she was pulling out)
She gets out and calls the police &raves about how lucky I am, this being my first accident that it was so trivial and no one was hurt at all-tells me all about how used to accidents she is since she's had so many. Police come to file the report and give me my ticket (FIRST ONE EVER) and this ladies mother comes to get her kid to take him to his party he was missing.lady tells the officer "I want you to look at my son so you can see he is OK, because I want him to go ahead and leave".She calls her hubby to tell him she is fine & how minor it was
