I was driving to work, I'd been behind this car doing 42 miles an hour for like 20 minutes, when i saw a chance to pass safely, i did, yes i probly did hit 70 passing, as i was getting back in front of car starting to slow down, a cop, hiding on the side of the road with his lights all out, turns on his lights, blues and pulls me over, he was very rude, said i was doing 80, i said, no i may of got to 70 in passing , told me not to tell him how to do his job i had no excuss for speeding, I told him i wasn't , i was passing. anywaay later i look at the ticket, and you can see my information or the officers, only court information and amount they are charging

Why would you have to go "probly" 70 to pass someone doing 42. Your inconsistency and inability to form a coherent sentence doesn't do your credibility much good. Pay the ticket and don't piss off a judge with your line of obvious BS.

You were speeding if you went over 55. Period, the end. It does not matter if you were passing another vehicle. There is no exceptions made for passing. Then you argue with the cop, not a smart thing to do. You are lucky he didn't haul your *** out of your car and do a search of you or your car. He could have done both. Next time use a lot of yes sirs and just take the ticket.

I sware to you this sounds exactly like my story... Last night i was following somone doing 45 in a 55 so when i had the chance to pass i did may be 70 to pass him.. there was a cop right behind me the entire time.. he pulled me over and said fist that if "i Liked running a way from a cop" then that i was doing 80.... I was as courtious as possible but he slapped me with that ticket and a window tint violation... the cop was rude to me and i belive the cop had no reason to do what he did to you either.. Police officers are here to protect us not to be *****.. they should take in to context what were doing and its rude to pass somone going slow...

Was the speed limit 70 when you were going 70? No? Then you got caught speeding. If the other car was going the speed limit, or within five miles of it, you're even more in the wrong. Next time leave the house earlier and stop whining.
