i find it very difficult finding a rental that is pet friendly. i, like most pet owners, consider their pets as part of the family and would not even consider reliqueshing them. isn't this discrimination. what can i do. rent a place and lie then bring in my dogs (three small). i can't do that. it's not fair to anyone. i can understand it to a point. i've seen the damage irresponsible pet owners have let their animals do.

A guy owes 20,000 in child support. He knows he is in deep trouble. He has attempted suicide before when he lost custody of his kid's due to being stupid and also taking 100 pills. He is more likely to hurt himself over the mom or the kid's right?

California's infamous Three Strikes Laws, which hand out a life sentence based upon the alleged unredeemable character of a convict, rather than a sentence befitting the crime, has succeeded in producing a 50% rate of all those convicted under this law being black.

Even though 12% of the population is black.

That's right, half (50%) of all those receiving a life sentence under California's Three Strikes Laws are black, but only 1-in-8 citizens are black?

Is this Californias way of dealing with poverty-stricken troubled youth?

Sure looks like it.

Time to end this Three Strikes Law madness and put judgement back into the hands of judges and juries, instead of power-hungry legislators.

It says on my bank statement : $1.00 gas authorization.
There is nothing that states on the gas pump that I will be charged a dollar for getting the gas.
I did not EVER get anything from my bank saying that if I got gas I would be charged a dollar just for the authorization.
Is that legal?
If it is; then why did they have to put up a sign saying how much an ATM will charge you?

I was with the program runned by my local county and they didn't really bother to do much for me. I was homeless and living on the streets and they sent somebody in to help me. We'll they did absolutely nothing for me. I have no papers and nothing else except proof that I am homeless. I really don't have proof that they caused this other then them leaving me to die. Its really hard to find attorneys that will represent me. Is there any suggestions out there from people that I could do about it? I live in Penna.

I have migraines and no one will insure me or employee me and this is excluded as a preexisting condition by insurance(my biggest expense). The medicine caused me to loose my house and no insurance will cover me now.

I fear tis will happen to anyone diagnosed with AIDS.

No one has protected me and my family from this discrimination and if HIV testing becomes mandatory for all these people will have no choice but to commit crime to get put in prison to get health care.

They gave us a letter saying that we will automatically be enrolled in a 401k, and that our investments will be chosen automatically according to my date of birth. They give you the option to contact someone to "opt-out",.....but shouldn't this be illegal ?...what if I didn't get the memo ?...shouldn't be the other way around...as in "opt-in" ? Basically...why should I have to take the initiative to stop them from deducting 3% of my money automatically ?

Can anyone give me some advice which type of regulations are breached by my employer, when he allows the cleaning personnel to use bleach to clean cups and the inside of the microwave? I am aware that bleach is classified as a corrosive substance in the COSHH regulations, however I am not working with the substance, it is only used in my work place. I have adressed this issue to the office manager twice, he in turn has spoken to the cleaners, as have I; to no avail.
So I guess so me kind of legal procedure would be appropriate at this stage, like an inspection or something like that. Any useful advice on what the next step should be? ( I should add that my college is suffering from digestive problems and she suspects the b leach in the microwave might be the cause. thanks a lot

And is it ok for her to pretend she is sick and not in school to avoid me?

I hate my art teacher so much, all that pain she caused me at school and i believe she has thrown away my artwork i spent all my effort on.
Whenever I call up school, no matter what day it is i decide to call... the receptionist tells me she is sick or she is on holiday.

I invested in a company nearly Rs 400000/- in Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh). The MD was absconded from 15th of July 2007 I filled a police case against him in Saifabad Police station in Hyderabad on 4th October 2007. a female can get an abortion and the man has no right whatso-ever to stop her . This has happend to me twice. i did not want her to have the abortion's but there wasn't one thing i could do about it. on the other hand if the man wants it and the woman doesnt theres not a thing he can do to make her have it. here is the story, on Friday October 5, 2007 i was on my way home from work and the public transportation bus that I was on in was involved in a bus accident when the bus and a car collided . At the time, i did not realize that the transportation company was in the wrong until I got a phone call on 10/29 telling me that (the bus company) was at fault and I should go to the doctor. I have went to the doctor and they told me I have to go to physical therapy for my neck because i did damage to my neck and shoulders. My attorney said that this should be an open and shut case, all i have to do is go through the therapy. If anyone has been in a bus accident involving a neck injury can you let me know what happened and approximately how much was your settlement amount. I know that the bus company is picking up all medical bills while I go thru therapy. If you have any suggestion, please let me know! Thank you once again for your Help!

I want to drive but can not hear without without my hearing aids. I'm tired of anyone driving me around. I'm 35 and been deaf all my life. Never really did get straight answers. I can have converstion on the phone if it's turned up. That is how deaf I am. Without it , doctor said a train could hit me before I feel it coming. So what you say? What's legal???

September 7th I purchased a toy from Ebay, it took 18 days to receive. I opened it, charged it up and tested it out only to find it faulty. I immediately contacted the seller who takes at least 24 hours to reply to each email I send. After a month of emails going backwards and forwards, he finally agreed to let me return it and took another 24 hours to give me the return address.

I have now requested a refund as this toy was a gift and is too late for me now. He states that he does not have a refund policy but will give me a replacement. I DO NOT WANT A REPLACEMENT and have told him so on a number of occassions.

Do I have any rights or am I stuck with something I no longer want? A new one is as good to me as a faulty one.

I have just called the landlord and lodged a complaint about the noisy neighbour, what will they do now?

Jackson and Sharpton will have their black useful idiots converge on a town or city to protest at a moment's notice – the majority of which not only do not live in the area, but come from polar ends of the country (evidence: Jena, La.).

After a protest, they return to their environs until the next time they are needed. The question that begs answering is: What happens in the town they just left? What happens when the protesters and cameras are gone? Why aren't these professional protesters doing more to clean up their own neighborhoods? Why aren't they demanding an accountability of parents and teachers where they reside? And finally, what kind of jobs do they have that allows them just to pick up and leave for days at a time? Is it safe to say they have no jobs?
