Without more info it's hard to tell.

Prior record, offense convicted of, behavior while inside, etc. will all effect the total time inside.

I would guess in the area of 8-9 months plus or minus depending on the other factors.

It all depends on how much time Texas gives for good behavior. In many states it is usually two-thirds of the sentence, or 16 months. This may vary from state to state, and with Texas you have to be very careful. Call the Texas Bureau of Prisons.

i have a brother in texas prison and he has to do the full 2 years.
