Seriously. Discrimination on the grounds of race, creed, sex or type is not fair..... But how far should it go? Do plants get a vote? Stones? Particles of air?

jk. but it can be funny to work some of these things out to their 'logical' conclusions...... 'discrimination is wrong' etc.

I was just notified that a question I asked in Politics was yanked.
It was a tongue in cheek question about a child reaching the age of reason and realizing his parents were democrats, should the child run as far from home as possible.
Naturally, this was in jest. I believe one of the problems facing this country is we're losing our ability to laugh at ourselves. The democrats preach free speech until it steps on their toes.
Do you agree with the question being yanked?

I know this has been asked but I have not seen an answer that really answers this. I almost fell over at the grocery store when I made my purchases. I buy the exact same things and this week my usual $80 turned into $110.

It took my over 10 years with specialized training to go from $3.35/hour to $7.00/hour. Now these kids fresh out of school make almost that? 2 months ago the company I work for DECREASED maximum pay to cover the new hire wage increase. Does that make sense? I can't go any higher?

My budget was already in the red zone due to the fuel hike. (rob Peter to pay Paul kind of thing). If I didn't need internet for work, I would drop that too!

Even my kids noticed 2 years ago we had money, now we don't. My daughter actually asked me if I had a drug or gambling problem! She didn't understand how we went from doing okay to broke all the time. I showed her my check and the bills and yesterdays receipts. "Wow" she said "how did that happen?" You tell me!

I am a student taking a sport law class. The topic that we have to fight for is that University of Maryland would be out of bounds to eject students who engage in profane language. The issue is that fans used profanity laced chants against a certain player. This game was televised nationally for not only the fans in attendance to hear, but all the viewers as well. University officials were hesistant to to eject the students due to their first amendment rights.

I feel it would be easier to fight for the ejection of the students, but that is not the case. Does anyone have any pointers about where I can look to get some good information regarding profanity and free speech? We are just really stuck on how we can fight this.

"Congress has twice had the chance to ban waterboarding, or simulated drowning, but has twice declined to do so. In both the Detainee Treatment Act of 2005 and the Military Commissions Act of 2006, Congress only barred "cruel, inhuman or degrading" treatment. While some Members have said they believe waterboarding is banned by that language, when given the chance to say so specifically in a statute and be accountable for it, they refused. "

yet they want him to discuss classified policy in public, he can't and to condemn waterboarding which he did, said that toruture was against the contsitution, not good enough, they again speak out of both sides of their mouths for political purposes.

I took her to a lawyer and he had advised her to file a petition under Muslim Dissolution of Marriage act and advised that it is only the remedy and can not prononuce talak like muslim male members. But the Local Jamath prepared a divorce memorandum known as Kulla and sent to her husband dissoving the marriage. Which is the correct position? If this easy method is available why should that act was enacted?

I am trying to move my cases from a small claims court proceeding to that of a federal court, and I'm trying to change the venue from one county to another due to blatant and overt racism in the present county where the cases were heard. These are the worst type of slobs I've seen in my life and they are not handling my cases properly.

I wish to appeal the decision made by a very incompetent, racist judge, and also get them removed from the present county they are in.

Please only decent, upright, and non-smart aleck answers. Don't say get an attorney because I've tried. I'm doing this on my own.

Thank you.

I talked to an old friend after not having contact for about 3 years. He was considered an alcoholic and drug addict by the age of 14, he was court ordered to attend AA and NA he was in several diversion classes and incarcerated in the rehab section of the county jail when busted for Possession of a controlled substance. I talked to him the other day and he was drunk. I was concerned because of his past, I ask him about his drinking habits now and he said yeah I like to kick back every now and then with a beer and a bowl. I suppose my question is how appropriate is it for a “recovering” alcoholic/drug addict to be a social drinker and pot smoker?
