It would have been nice to know what you did to merit that offense, which, in Connecticut, could be anything from nude sunbathing to carrying an open container of alcohol to failure to obey a police officer, but, in general, according to the web, "Breach of the Peace [in Connecticut] is a class B misdemeanor punishable by up to six months in prison, a fine of up to $1,000, or both".
Even if it's your first offense, "BoP" is considered quite serious in many communities, so, IMHO, get a lawyer!
