...if I credit the artist of the images?
I'm writing a book (fiction) and I have found two images on the Internet that I believe would be 'eye-catching' marketing tools. Unfortunately, the artwork is currently being used by a music group for two of their album covers.
Where can I get info regarding copyrights and the payment due to the artists of same, as ruled on by Canadian business law?
(Sorry, two questions, but I don't want to see anyone (myself included) hurt by copyright infringement.)

Later Daze! =)

No physical contact involved. I would think that this would be protected by the First Amendment-Freedom of Speech. Just curious.

Does that mean that they can't be prosecuted if the investigation proves that they were unprovoked during the September shootings?

I wonder if those were U.S. Soldiers, would they get granted immunity or would they be rotting in prison right now?

The new laws in Illinois state that you need 50 hours (or 100 im not sure) of driving while having your permit, which you must have for nine months. These new laws go into effect January 1st, 2008, and will replace the current laws, which only require a 3 month learning permit period. Due to these restrictions, I won't be getting my license until the summer before my junior year, and I won't be able to drive with more than one friend in the car until almost my 18th birthday. If anyone else is extremely pissed off about this, and knows a way I can get my permit easily for just 3 months, please tell.

BTW: I am a freshman and my birthday is November 3, 1992

Travelgate pitted the Clintons against Billy Dale, whose sole "crime" was whistleblowing Hillary installing the arkansas "mafia" in the office. After ruining his life, career and fortunes, as the Clintons publicly sided with his defense against manufactured cia and irs charges, they now have Peter Paul and the Youtube video. Though his crime is unrelated to the thrashing the Clintons gave him financially, Hillarys arguement is it should disqualify him "anyway".

The film also includes a tape recording recently obtained by Paul of Sen. Clinton thanking him in advance for staging the event, which he says is proof that she illegally coordinated the fundraiser with him.
in anticpation of the liberal whine, regardless if its new evidence, it is infact evidence.
Stan Lee, creator of many of Marvel Comic heroes denies the statements Hillary made regarding her finanacial involvement with him and this event

I understand that Blackwater is a security company.

I understand that Blackwater security personnel were involved in something that resulted in the death of Iraqi civilians.

I understand that the U.S. is investigating.

I understand that the Iraqi's claim that Blackwater fired without provocation and have yet to find witnesses to say otherwise.

What I want to know is why the U.S. government gave the Blackwater employees involved in the episode immunity. I've read a little about it, but couldn't make much sense of why these individuals were given immunity when they were under investigation for the wholesale slaughter of civilians.

Can someone please explain it to me?

My couisin died when i was 16, i'm 20 years old now.He wrote his will while he was in the hospital dying. The thing is, for me and my sister it was written 25 000$ and then it was crossed out and written 10 000 over it, but he didn't intital beside it to prove it was true.

The will is signed by two other people proving it's true, but my cousin was pretty much a millionaire so i'm wondering what happend?

We were not given anything to sign, they sent us each a check in the mail LAST YEAR and said that they had applied to release this money because everything in the estate was not settled yet.

I'm wondering if i would be able to contest this? I know he had the money he wanted to give us first, but he was not in a state where he was able to think about his finances, i mean he died right after.

Also on the will he wrote us as his nieces when he is actually our cousin.
I don't know if its too late, but i was a minor before, i didn't know anything.

The state board is kinda giving me a hard time about it. along with a dui charge from 2003 i'm kinda worried. I mean i'm 30 now. i was 21 when the domestic violence charge happened but it was dropped the prosecutor literally laughed when he saw the charges because it was completely the other parties fault. as for the dui i blew exactly at .08 and back in 03 the laws were stiff just not as stiff as they are now. I need help, i'm worried i've come to far to just quit.
