My brother is receiving unemployment now and he has been paying child support. Will child support be taken out of his employment?

Yes it will. They still garnish your wages, even in unemployment.

Yes it can, just because your out of work doesn't mean you shouldn't pay child support, and also it's better for you that way because like that you won't have to pay arrears, also you can request for unemployment to take out taxes on your unemployment checks like that you can get a decent refund in the long run.... I had this happen to me.
They do not take out child support since it is only temp, and like in my case the support was more than the unemployment check.
It is his responsibility to make sure the state receives his support money.
