I'm going to go out on a limb and ask what others think about abortion. Please don't attack eachother or give ratings because of your disagreeing with their answer. I need some help with a paper, and would like to get some feedback. I appreciate it entirely!

Up until last year I did not have a problem. Some of my mail had my physical address, and some my mailing address. My post office began stamping my physically addressed mail with a red "incorrect address" stamp. They will now often return the mail to the sender. I have been fighting with banks and credit offices to change my current physical address to my p.o. box. They will not send my bills or credit cards to my p.o. box! Because of this much of my mail is rerouted back to the business. I am being penalized with late fees because of this now. I have cancelled many of the cards, however I'm still having a rough time with my bank. I have been approved for loans, but when they send me the check it gets returned back to the bank. They will not accept I have a p.o. box, therefore I have had to cancel my approved loans. They cite that it's because of the "Patriot Act." I've tried to research this but I don't see where it says I don't have the right to get my mail at my address. Help!

Met a Mexican National Woman on a weekend summer vacation in Mexico. Two months later I was contacted by her saying she is pregnant and wants support.

Is it possible for her to obtain and enforce a Mexican Support Order against me since I am a US citizen and a resident of both California and Pennsylvania.

This woman has no VISA and is unable to travel to the US.

In California, we're having the drop in home buying and prices, fires, and other background issues. I know this affects supply and demand, but I don't buy this idea because most places we've looked at charge ridiculous prices while rooms stay vacant. If apartments are so much, it seems that people would just refuse to buy at irrational prices. Can't rent prices circumvent supply and demand? Why not significantly lower the prices and fill every complex up? I think the outcome and result we would see is that there are not enough units to meet the need of shelter--so build more complexes! There's no low-income housing and I don't think we could get with our income (we're like at 60-70 thousand before taxes). We just got married, live pay-check-to-paycheck, no money saved, FYI.

Complexes post the federal nondiscriminatory law but why is income not part of this? Class and income disparity is the most significant issue in economic affairs (IMO) and is not addressed. Pretty scandalous.

I've known the owner of an established Chinese restaurant for years. She recently agreed to give my high school son a part-time job helping up front and doing a few deliveries. When he got there, she said she would only pay him cash, $20 a night, and he could keep the tips from his deliveries. Why would she not make him fill out a W-9, and offer him a wage as a tipped employee? This has to be illegal, but what should we do? Is my son likely to get in legal trouble? I need to confront her in a knowledgeable way.

Death penalty will reduce the number of rapes, and will make men think "if you don't want to die, don't rape"

This apply for pedophiles as well.

Is it illegal to charge smokers a re-entry fee.

In england smoking is banned in enclosed public placs. Some night clubs charge an entrance fee but do not have a smoking area. If you want to smoke you need to leave the premises.
Some of these club stamp your hand and give you a ticket timed. If you back within that time frame you pay a amount to re-enter the nite club but not the full door price.
Is this illegal??

i.e. you pay £5 to enter the night club, a few hours pass and you go for a smoke. You get your ticket and hand stamped. then on coming back in you have to pay a £1 re-entry fee.

Am not sure its right but then it may just be unfair.

HELP! Just got served with a Writ of Execution for a sherriffs sale on my vehicle. The amount owed is $314.00 plus court costs. Here are my questions,
1. What is this $300.00 exemption? The 1997 Dodge Ram is all he owns that can be taken to be sold. Since it is his source of income, can we claim this exemption?
2. Regarding the court fees, I know an informa pauperis would make him exempt from fees, could it work for being charged for them?

Anything you could tell me would be greatly appreciated. This was a mechanics shop that installed a brand new motor in the Ram to the tune of $3,600 with a 30 day warranty that he would not honor, so we did not pay the last $314.00. We are getting screwed here royally folks, got to reduce this owed amount as much as possible. TELL ME ANYTHING, SUGGESTIONS WELCOMED.

Consumers like me can not find a lawyer to deal with the constant attack by big companies even the threat of life is present. The companies seem to be given imunity from consumers including doctors. Every day I read about multi million dollar law suits between large companies. If I have to settle for mediation and no punishment to the companies that have done me wrong than the same should hold true for these large companies.

Seems the only people benefiting is the Attorney's.

It certainly can not benefit consumers.

I went to the mall the other day and bought a 12" blacklight with a car adapter. I'm not sure where to look to find out, so I need to know if it's illegal to have one on in your car in Indiana.

I know it'd be ironic since they sell them IN Indiana, but you never know.

So the deal is that our next door neighbors have several video cameras pointed directly on our house. We have asked why they were there yet we got the run around. Mainly saying that the people who use to live there were drug dealers and they stole from him and his family. When it was explained that that was them not us he refused to take it down. I do not know how to get rid of this problem. Can someone please help!

There have been cases in the past about wrongfully convicted people turning out to be innocent. Nothing can ultimately be done to make up for the time they served, so they are usually awarded a huge cash settlement. There was a case of this one guy who was originally sentenced to death, appealed the case and got re-trialed but this time sentenced to life, and years later was found to be innocent the whole time. Lots of injustice in this world.

So my question is:

Would you be willing to do 10 years in prison for $10,000,000? What would be your biggest fear in there? Under what supposed crime would you want to be convicted? I hear pedofiles and ex-police officers have it the worst in there, so would you still do it if you had to go in and be marked as one of them?

I am curious your point of view on this.

-I know who this man is
-He was very well known in the church and because of this, his crime was "covered"
-My mother was 16 at the time, she had no real support because my grandmother was also an important figure in the church and feared for her "reputation", so I believe the case went to, but was dropped or thrown out in court
-This was a RAPE, I also know of the potential witness/accomplice
-Can I get a DNA test taken now to prove he's the father? In doing this, can it be proven that he did committ the rape crime?
-Are there any attorneys that see potential in this situation and would like to assist me legally?
-There's also a church scandal that ties into this situation that went "public" in the 80's
-I don't have alot of money, but I do have alot of faith..and I feel that there may be some potential "recognition" here, if anything, for the attorney who can prove the crime and associated church scandal
-I'm being completely honest and hoping to seek justice for my mother

this story in the news, about a knife crime every 24 minutes
seems to me, as a bit of scare mongering
here are my calculations
60 minutes(1 hour)
divided by 24 minutes = 2.5 crimes
2.5 crimes x 24 hours in the day = 60 crimes a day
60 crimes a day x 365 days in the year
(not including leap years) = 21900
estimated population of uk 60,776,238
according to google
so 60,776,238 population divided by crimes in a year 21900
2775.1706 years till you are a victim of knife crime
also you may be a victim twice,
so every one is pretty safe i think
what are your views?
