Consumers like me can not find a lawyer to deal with the constant attack by big companies even the threat of life is present. The companies seem to be given imunity from consumers including doctors. Every day I read about multi million dollar law suits between large companies. If I have to settle for mediation and no punishment to the companies that have done me wrong than the same should hold true for these large companies.
Seems the only people benefiting is the Attorney's.
It certainly can not benefit consumers.

You are absolutely right. The ones who benefit are the attorneys. They make millions each off of class-action lawsuits against big corporations while a consumer might just get a paltry $20 check.
