Death penalty will reduce the number of rapes, and will make men think "if you don't want to die, don't rape"
This apply for pedophiles as well.

Because rape is one of those subjective crimes where far too many people are accused unjustly.
While I consider rape to be a heinous and cowardly act, I think it would equally unjust to arbitrarily impose the death sentence when there's even one chance in a million that we would murder a man who was later found to be innocent. "Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord". Let your God, or intelligent designer, or big-bang evolutionary architect, or Supreme Being make those kinds of ultimate decisions. We mere mortals are not smart enough or omnipotent enough to make such judgments on our fellow man.
Pedophiles, rapists and murderers are all savage sub-humans, just as are war-mongers and torturers. Let them be punished for their crimes here on Earth in a humane way; let them face their ultimate, eternal punishment in the next dimension where they stand to endure the wrath of their almighty maker. -RKO- 10/28/07

If rape victims would just go ahead and use lethal force to "de-animate the aggressor", the rapist, during the act, then it would solve a lot of problems: no having to find him, have a trial, lock him up, feed him for twenty years, and listen to incessant appeals. Such women would be doing a public service, and no D.A. would dare bring any charges against them, absent some suspicion that the rape story was false, but THAT never happens...

If lady dies as a result of being raped, than I am sure death penalty is called for.

I dont think rape falls into that category, sorry. Do you know how many people are falsley accused and sentenced to jail for rape??? too many.
