It is well known to the entire world that Yoga was born in India from thousands of years & spread that knowledge to the rest of the world. But US govt is trying to get the Patent rights of Yoga.
Isn't this insane?

Or do we just keep throwing more and more people in prison for non violent drug offenses? I know a lot of people in law enforcement NEVER want to see an end to the war on drugs, since the confiscation of 'ill gotten gains' from drug suspects (some of whom are never actually convicted of a crime, but still lose their property and money) enriches police departments?
Or should we just legalize drugs, like they were legal 100 years ago, and instead spend the money we now use to incarcerate drug addicts on treatment for their addiction instead? Unless we turn into a total police state (and we're rapidly heading there now) we'll NEVER be able to legislate the behavior of people. I don't know about you, but I'd rather live in a society that tolerates and tries to help and treat drug addicts than a society that puts them up against the wall and shoots them. Or throws them in prison for years for non violent offenses. How about you?

Is it legal in the state of Washington, or in any other state to use public land to create a private profit?

More specifically, would somebody be able to use a high school's tennis courts for their own private tennis lessons?

Would they have to receive approval from the high school, or from the state, or how would that work?

At http://www.nationalgunforum.com I have a forum for people who do support guns and weaponds. A great place for gun enthusiasts to ask questions and communicate.

I was curious to know how many people actually support guns. Being able to conceal and protect yourself is your right and should not be taken away. Your opinions?

ELIZABETH, Ind. - Prosecutors are considering criminal charges against casino gamblers who won big on a slot machine that had been installed with faulty software.

The machine at Caesars Indiana credited gamblers $10 for each dollar they inserted because the software wasn't designed for U.S. currency, state police said. More than two dozen people played the machine before one gambler alerted Caesars employees.

Caesars lost $487,000 on the machine during that time, state police said.

A decision on whether to bring criminal charges could come in a couple of weeks, said John Colin, chief deputy prosecutor for Harrison County. He said "criminal intent" may be involved when people play a machine they know is faulty.

Shouldn't the maintenence of their machines be the responsibility of the casino operator? Why doesn't the casino take some personal responsibility for their idiocy?

I bought a camcorder battery from a US web site http://www.global-batteries.com/index.php and I wanted it to be delivered to a canadian address.
Six weeks gone now but not received it. when I inquired them, they say I have entered a wrong canadian zip code and because of that I have not received it. But I contacted canadian post office and they say that they can find the address even without the zip code and will take a little longer. But Global-Batteries says they cant do anything but if I pay another $ 8.00 they can resend another product. But I dont want to do that, as I believe that this is not my mistake.
1. Why Global-Batteries web site accepted zip code if I entered it wrong (I have given a five digits instade the six digit zip code)
2. I entered and paid to a US web site and my credit card has been debited from Hong Kong. Can they do it legally? as I am unaware my credit card details are passed to another country.

Is there any place that I can compain in US gov?

During the school holidays, the traffic level during rush hour drops through the floor. Doesn't it make more sense to discourage parents from driving their little darlings to school instead of charging people for driving, when they've already been taxed on fuel & road fund licence, plus had to pay for an MOT?
Surely a better option would be re-work the way parents choose their child's school. It's ludicrous to have a child attending a school miles from his or her home, and in 20 years of travel I have never come across this in any other country. If there is a disparity in school standards then the government should be addressing this to remove the need to send children to schools miles from home, not charging people for commuting. Does anyone else think children should attend their local schools only? If not, why not?

A Friend of mine was staying with her baby at my house to get away from her bad realationship. In the morning I was off to work and she was waiting for her mom to come get her. I told her to lock all doors and then go out the back locking it behind her. Well a week went by and I went to use my laptop it was missing. Came to find out her mom never picked her up. One of the girls I work with and her thug boyfriend came to get her. My friend says they only came in to help her gather her things and bring them to the car, (this gave him the perfect chance to easily grab to laptop on the way out to the car without being seen. When I approached my co-worker of her theiving boyfriend she1st denied it. I told her I had it video ( which I didn't) The next day she wrote me a note saying I was right, she saw my laptop yesterday at his house, but she wants nothing to do with it. I don't know where he lives exactly except it is a good 45min drive. Weeks have gone by, How do I prove he did

Lets not confuse revenge with legitimate legal punishment for crimes committed, I'm referring to the urge inside us all to "get even" when we feel that we've been wronged....
