I have a friend that has 850 in rent due on the 15 of the month and she gave her landlord only 750 of the rent, the landlord said that she has to come up with the rest of the money within three days or he would be served with an eviction notice, if he dosent come up with the money will he be intitled to the money just paid to the landlord?

Personally, I think they were just doing what normal teenagers do, and that they don't do it anymore, and it's nice to see a bit of honesty in the houses of parliament... what about you?

My dad died in Missouri, and had allot of money. There was no will my step mom told me. My dad and I were very, very, close and it is hard to believe that he would of not left me anyhting. If my name was not on anything, do I have a right to it as his son? what can I do to find out I have not been lied to?

If prohibition didn't work with alcohol then why should it work with cannabis?

When cannabis was declassified to class C, cannabis use dramatically decreased in the UK. Should we then assume that if it gets reclassified to class B, cannabis use will increase?

Have the government got this right? Do not people react against such infringement on there liberty by doing it all the more? Is it cool to be a rebel?

I owe bank of america $1,700 and I just had a baby and have a 2 year old. I am not married and havent worked for 3 months, I cant go back to work cause I cant afford a babysitter. They sent me a letter saying that they want me to be found in contempt of court. I have 2 kids and cant work , what if I go to jail, who will watch my kids. I am really scared and dont know what to do. They sent me a letter of interrogatories and I didnt fill it out because they wanted a lot of personal information from me. And because I didnt they want me to go to jail for 5 days. What can I do?

In view of the social problems that alcohol produces, it's addictive properties and in line with the governments hardening line on cannabis, I propose that;

1. Alcohol should be banned.

2. Anyone found in the possession of alcohol should be made to carry out communitiy service.

3. Repeat offenders should be sent to jail.

4. Brewers should be given a minimum 5 year jail sentence.

I find myself getting "violation emails" for comments that disagree with the asker in a creative way. I think that YA is enforcing what they think "violations" are way too strictly.

It's kind of like big brother over your back.

if you live in an apartment can your land lord come in when ever they want they put inspection notice on our door to look at the apartment witch is fine but when thy come its like 8 in the morning

employee, that was sleep and then the sleeping employee gets fire that same day.I think that is a violation of privacy,

The employer asked an empolyee to go get another employee but just so happens that when the employee finds the employee he was asked to go look for, found that the person was sleep and took pictures, I guess to prove a point, why didn't he just wake him up if there wasn't a plan in motion to catch the sleeping employee in the act doing somthing to fire him..

What do you all think,

Cause I don't know and the whole mess sounds fishy to me...

I got into a car wreck on 3/2005. I was uninsured at the time. I hit a BMW and got sued later. He was claiming up to 80k. But as the case with most insurance claims he milked it. I was going to fight it in court but too be honest it was too stressful. I know i didnt hit this guy hard. and hes claiming he was injured and stuff (Bogus). But in the end me and his personal lawyer made a deal that i would sign a paper taking the fault for not having insurance. It resulted in his Insucrance company AIG sending me to the DMV and suspending me for a year. There thing was if I didnt have cash then take the suspension. So ive been suspended for about a year now. I had been left alone for the whole year. Ive been proving that im insured to the DMV. I work at a bank and dont make enough money. So I'm struggling to pay my bills. But i was getting there. But Yesterday I got a letter from AIG. Asking me to pay As i said above I dont have enough cash to pay. Is there a way around this? Please Help Me

As hate crime assailants are probably non-sexual (i.e. eunuchs) does the sexual leanings of the basher have to be proven in Court.

Does a homophobic victim have to prove that the different sexual preferences is the agenda item? In my case it was the other way around, as I as a hetereo was attacked. But still a hate crime!

well just curious about this specific law
well say hypothetically a guy did crime X and that crime has a statute of limitations of say 5 years but then then next week a law was passed saying there is no more statute of limitations for that crime.
so im wondering does the guy no longer have the statute of limitations for that crime or does he still have the 5 year?
