Duh...of course..
In your own home you have many many rights that wont exist anywhere else...and thats even if you are a 'work from home' employee...

If you employ staff, or, clients visit your home, then you cannot smoke! You also have to have a no smoking sign on the entrance to the office. If you are a carer of some sort, ie childminder, you cannot smoke, there are a few little rules regarding smoking and working from home! And they are just as daft as me not being allowed to smoke in MY van, because my son (who smokes) is in the same vehicle, but i could fill my car with non smokers, or children and can smoke my head off! Absolutely insane!

For now, unless the Democrats take over then they will want to save you from yourself and make smoking in the home against the law, and with all the new tax money they'll be collecting they will be able to put you through some sort of holistic stop smoking treatments.

I am an ex-smoker and the force of law is getting to a point where if I could afford cigs. I'd start smoking again jus to defy the gov.
Hang on though if I did I'd be paying more tax to them so I won't. So there!

Some companies have started forcing non-smoking policies on their employees to get insurance rate reductions. If you don't have any such provisions, the light 'em up.

Yes you can as long as you work by yourself. If you employ someone in your home to work for you, then Im afraid not.
