No. They have to give you a 24 hour notice. I would call the police, or file a complaint with the landlord, and hopefully property management.

Generally, they must come in at a "reasonable hour" unless there is an emergency. And for most communities, 8 am is considered reasonable.

Talk to your landlord and ask them to not come in until later, especially if you work a late shift.

And by the way, they can only come in if you give them permission, or in the case of an emergency. Not random inspections.

There's such a thing as privacy. Your rental contract should specify if and when the landlord could enter without your permission. From your question, it appears they did not give a specific time for their inspection, which they should have done. To protect yourself and your personal property, you should always be there when anyone is inspecting or making repairs.

No you have to be notified in advance before they come in to look at the apartment, this is usually done because of a maintenance or spraying job that needs to be done.I get notified of spraying in advance and I am here when it gets done, in the 13 years I have lived here I never had the landlord or their Representatives just come in, I contact them to report a problem, like I did last night and this morning the problem was repaired. Read you lease, this item should be in there.

24 hours UNLESS they feel there is something going on that could damage there property like gas leak water leak something on the emergency level then they can come right in but for anything else 24 hours and u should always be there when they come in and I would change the dead bolt whenever you move in to a rental keep the old dead bolt and key to replace the new one when you move out but at least they will have to call you and let you know if they need in your home and then you can bust them for trying to go in your house without proper notice.

If they put the notice up in advance according to the contract, that's fair warning. Yes, they can just walk in. It's their building, their door, their lock.
