I have been filling out paid surveys for awhile and I don't qualify for most of them because most highly paid ones ask if you have diabetes, hypertension, or cancer. For you to qualify, you need to have some of these illnesses, so what happens if you say you have diabetes when you really don't have in a paid survey? Can they take any legal action or sue against you?

Human/Rabbit - Human/Chimpanzee - Human/Cow
Is it because we can't really call them human therefore pro-lifers can't condemn it the same as abortion and the stem cell research can go on?
Should we just accept the fact that we have diseases and this is just a process of natural selection in a world that is already over populated. Isn't the process of natural selection simply the earths way of keeping a balance. What will happen when we keep interfering in that balance? Aids? Madcow disease? West Nile Virus? Do you think mother nature is trying to tell us something?

My neighbor next door has taken into head that she can build a fence on our property; which she claims is hers. Here's the problem the land in 1952 says we bought for the entire plot. She handed us a paper from the tax office and said no this is right and it shows our property is cut in half. The people at the court house (deed and records) says the one in 1952 is right; there's no record of the other one. The people; deed place also said that if what we bought all the property of 1952, which is a subdivision she can't change that. We're (me and my husband) are confused as to who is right and who's wrong? She's already lined off the house and put stakes. Who's right and who's wrong?

We've been working with this contractor since Dec. Although he's been slow in giving us every thing we need to turn into the bank, we've been patient. We have a contract with him and have submittet it to our lender along with the paid and stamped blue prints and other fees.. We were only missing the Specs. in which he said he meet with us Fri. to give to us at 3pm(we are now in May mind you). He calls us at 1pm and tells us he can not go on with out project and is handing it over to another builder. The other builder saw the contract and said he couldn't do it cause he can't touch the price the other builder agreed to do it for. My husband has been working in Iraq to get this house for the family and was ready to come back home, this was like the final step before closing and to get this news was like, gosh, painful. It doesn't seem right? Does the contract stand for anything? What should we do?

Ok well a few weeks ago i got pulled over for failure to stop and had a citation for $107.50 i put that in a check and mailed it now today i got a mail back saying this..

This notice is being sent regarding your check #101, which was returned to this office marked "branch/account sold - do not present again".

You have ten days upon receipt of this notice to submit the amount of $127.50, by certified check, cash or money order. When paying by mail, do not send cash. Please be advised that a $20.00 retruned check charge has been added to your orginal check of $107.50. Failure to comply will result in a criminal bad check charge being filed which would result in a $300 fine and/or 90 day prison sentence.

Ok so do i have to mail an additional $20? i dont really understand what it means

Hello, I was in an accident over 2 years ago ( it was my fault).
Two months ago I found out I was getting sued for personal injury...I have a lawyer and believe this lawsuit is completely ridiculus because I talked to the guy for a good half hour after the accident and he was fine, not to mention his car only had a slight dent in the front corner...anyway, I know about the public records section of credit reports and I just wanted to know if a pending lawsuit will show up on it, or will it only show if I lose the suit and have a judgement against me? I recently checked my credit and so far it doesnt show up but Im worried it will be put on there. Any help would be great!!

Monday night at 11pm i asked my neighbor's sons (age 18 and 19) to turn down there music. They were underage drinking and one of the sons spit in my face. I turned around to go to ask their mother to have them turn it down. As i headed in the direction of my home the son assalted me from behind by tackling. Recieved minor injuries from this. I called the police. I told the police what happened and informed the officer that the sons made threat of damaging my property in my yard.

I woke up this morning to all my yard stuff either damaged or missing.

On my deck i had about $80 worth of plants and along side in pots i had about $20 worth of tomatos and other vegs. Then in my front yard i had a fenced in garden with about $100 worth of plants and about $300 worth of time and investment lost. They started a fire and burned my lawn chairs. The kids are not on the lease and mother says she has no responibility for them. What can i do? Can i sue mother? I live in Oregon.
