Sylvester Stallone deserves to be in jail for smuggling, not Paris for a petty offence? Is Australia this lean on all smugglers? Or is it that they feel "Rocky" needed them to stay buff? Then to say he was unaware of how things worked....48 Viles!!!!!!!!!!!! To bad Australia isnt what it used to be....

I'm being wrongly accused of vandalism, stalking, and harrassment of an individual down the road. I have never done the things I am being accussed of; however, it's her word against mine. I now have a restraining order and have to appear in court. What are my options? Can I countersue for slander? This has to reported to my job and I now cannot carry a firearm. It also will be investigated through my work.

How long can the prosecution wait before they even turn over the disclosure? The arrest was made 7 months ago and the defense lawyers still have not received any information from the police or prosecution. Is there a time limit on this stuff? A person should not be left in limbo.

How do I get a restraining order from the builder who is building a house next door to me, and also shared a driveway, with an ingress and egress from all three properties of subdivision. Builder has repeatedly harassed me, allowed workers to urinate in public on property (pics availble) and blocked me from getting in and out of my proerty on a regular basis. Several police reports available. My property markers have been removed and new ones are in place based on builders survey (not allowed). Builder also fraudulently tried to overbill for unauthorized work on shared apportionment, which remains in lawyers hands, but is unwilling to negotiate. I am at my witts end and want to know at what point is this harassment? Every time I try to contact my local Town of Newburgh, things get worse and I feel trapped. Someone is getting paid off or something is not right. Who do I complaint to, to get things deal with righ? Please help me right the wrong.

The other day I was terminated for drinking some left over milk at starbucks (my old job) and giving out a drink for a cheaper price only once, right before my 2 week vacation! I was denied my 2 weeks pay...

While working there i was constantly harassed by the "assistant manager," I was told the following things by him verbally:

"if you dont clean up, your never going to be able to walk again, and i dont mean i'm going to break your legs, you know what i mean; Lets just say you wont be able to sit."

"the only way your going to get any higher around here in the ranking is to start giving blowjobs."

and asking "have you ever had sex?" "do you know the gay areas around here, what would YOU be doing there!?" the list is endless

also i have bent down against the counters and he has come behind me putting hands on my back and hugging me rubbing his face against me.

I told the manager about some of this and they did nothing about a month before today, can i sue the corp. for anything?

A friend of mine has a daughter in highschool. She gets mostly A's & B's on her report card and always makes the honor roll. She recently needed a copy of her transcript and noticed that classes she knew she had all A's and B's in on her report card, had a "C" average for the year on the transcript. After going over grades on report cards and previous transcripts, she discovered that many grades had been changed, (lowered, never raised) which significantly lowered her class rank. When this was brought to the schools attention, grades were corrected on the transcript, but all the school did was make excuses for the secretary who had changed the grades, saying it had to have been an honest mistake. The grades were not changed on the report cards, only after they were entered on the transcript, so it didn't make sense? This girl is the secretary's neice. My friend thinks the secretary (her own sister) sabotaged her daughter's grades on purpose becayse they have never gotten along?????????

So here is the story:

I went trail riding for the first time last weekend, we all had ORV stickers on our 4-wheelers and dirtbikes. We were going down a state trail and it forked and we just went one way. We stopped for a rest a little while longer down the trail. Next time we know a DNR ( Department of Natural Resources ) truck pulls up and tells us that we are not permitted to be there. Where the trail forked there was no signs or anything marking which way was correct, we tried to explain this to the DNR officer but he wouldn't believe us and he just kept telling us we were wrong. He ended up writting us citations for operating ORV where prohibbited in violation of R299.922(p) under administrative rule. The citation ended up being $120. On the back of the citation you can write the courthouse a letter admitting responsibility with explanation and it is possible that they will revoke the citation. Do you have any tips or advice on what I should say in the letter? I live in MI.

I lost a civil trial (was plaintiff) and the defense lawyer has filed for court costs which exceeds $10,000.

1. If they file for attorney fees (could exceed $50,000) is there a chance that the judge can deny it? Under what circumstances can they deny it?

2. How many days does the defense lawyer have until they can file for attorney fees after the verdict has been entered?

3. How long do I have after the judgement has been entered to pay these fees?

4. If I can't pay it, what happens?

my husband rewrote his will after we were married 4 1/2 years ago. it states that all assets are to be transferred to me upon his death; however, he has an adult son with a criminal record from a previous marriage. if he were to contest the will (which states that he is excluded from all inheritance) would there be a long-drawn out legal situation? is there anything we should do to protect against this type of problem?

I frequent this bar several times a week with friends and dates. 3 months ago I noticed 12 very small cameras were installed coming through the drop ceiling and concealed in those little black half spheres so you can't tell where they're pointed. This I have no problem with as it keeps employees honest and documents everything in case a crime occurs, etc. Last night I was there talking to the bartender about the new security. She leaned over and whispered that the owner also installed microphones in the ceilings capable of capturing any conversation in the place. She told me about the recordings he let her listen to of the more funny conversations that occurred. I didn't let on, but I was outraged! My friends and dates have talked about very private things in the past couple of months when no one was in earshot. Now I find out he has been secretly recording us?? There are no signs indicating this is going on, and the microphones are not visible. Is this legal in the state of PA?
