The information you are looking for is there in your home state all you need to do is report this Lawyer to the State Bar of Law as well as the State Ethics on Law which can be found in your State Capital. They will need the transcrepts of the case as it was heard in court. They will need the name of the Defending Lawyer. and any other information of why he is seeking more of a sentence of the person he was to be defending. You will need to request of the courts that sentencing be delayed because of a confliect of interest involving Client/ Lawyer. Seek out your own Lawyer and appleal the case.
Good Luck to You

There is something wrong with this picture. If the boy is already in prison for 15 years, then this is the sentence set down by the Judge. The Attorney can't get time added onto his sentence. Somewhere, you are getting bad information. If you think there is something that can be done, please make an appointment with the Attorney General and take it from there. Remember, sometimes we want to help the less fortunate, but unfortunately, we don't always get the full story. You should ask yourself a few questions, such as why do you want to get involved, what are the reasons this boy is in prison, etc. Perhaps, it would be best NOT to get involved. Things like this rarely work out, no matter what we believe. Good Luck and Bless You for wanting to help a young person who may or may not deserve being in prison.

start by telling us why he's in jail. What happened?
Why is the public defender trying to get time added on to his sentence?? This doesn't make too much sense. His attorney's job is to try to get time off his sentence. We need more information.
