Sylvester Stallone deserves to be in jail for smuggling, not Paris for a petty offence? Is Australia this lean on all smugglers? Or is it that they feel "Rocky" needed them to stay buff? Then to say he was unaware of how things worked....48 Viles!!!!!!!!!!!! To bad Australia isnt what it used to be....

Paris was and has always been a rebel and being in the bad eyes of the law and a controversial public figure all this while doesnt help. She has great influence on lots of teenagers and thats where the law used her as an example. But i personally think that jail time will only give a positive effect to her publicity. Paris is one of the best marketeer in the world with 6 years consecutively being in the limelight without fading! Go Paris! =)

Stallone had an actual Doctors prescription for the HGH he brought into Australia. It still violated that countries laws but it was definitely extenuating circumstances. He will pay a fine and I believe it was a fair decision.
Paris had a DUI, violated probation, drove on a suspended license and basically thumbed her nose at the legal system thinking she could not be touched. She has been a horrible influence on young woman, abused drugs and alcohol, been promiscuous with several sex videos and lived a deviant lifestyle.
She has no looks, talent, or skill and all she possesses is wealth which unbeknown-st to me made her famous. The legal system is just treating her like any civilian would be treated and not giving her a break cause of her wealth.
Comparing her to Stallone is like comparing apples to oranges.
I hope this sentence changes her for the better.

Not sure what the law says, but with regards to Paris Hilton, she was jailed because what she did was dangerous to others. The courts probably took into account that Sly's smuggling was not to hurt or supply others, only for his personal use.
I think courts place a lot of emphasis on the effect on the community. Paris could have killed somebody whilst driving drunk.

paris is a dirty skank wit a lazy eye nobody likes her and if they do they need to be stoned to death...driving under the influence and with a suspended license let us hope you are never a judge if you find that a petty offense. if your mom or someone you loved died that night because of her stupidity i bet you would't be saying the same thing about this. if that was anyone else they would be in alot longer than 45 days so everyone complaing about her going to jail needs to drow the fu ck up. and as for sly throw him in jail to. just cuz you got money doesnt make you above the law.

Driving under the influence, with a suspended license, is not a petty offense. Anyone without her money would have been in the slammer long ago.

I didn't hear anything about Stallone smuggling--what did he smuggle?

Chances are, if you mess up, you won't be able to get the privilege that she had and you'll end up behind bars for a period of time only God knows how long. Having Hilton-Kholi kids is not really a great idea. You will need more brain cells than that coupling can produce for the kids to survive.

So. Are you pro-Paris, or anti-Sylvester?

Sounds like you didn't approve of what happened with Stallone. That's fine, but don't compare that with Paris. Paris deserved what she got.

I cannot comment on the smuggling rap as I do not know the circumstances. But Hilton's offense was anything but petty; her recklessness endangered others as well as herself and a severe spanking is eminently warranted.

Paris is a skank and needs to learn that she cannot do whatever she likes.

Her *** needs to be thrown in jail.

As for sly, not heard about that but last time i checked Australia is a different country. Hell, go to some countries and they will stone you to death for showing your ankle and others will chop off your hands for stealing.
