I turned the keys over to them. That night the window was broken and about 2000 dollars worth of stuff was stolen. They say they have no responsibility to pay. Is this true?

I got into a car accident in CA and was living in CA at the time. About 6 months later I had to move back to NC. I still live in NC. Before I got into the accident I had broken my spine. THe day I got into the accident was about 7 months into healing of my spine. I am still going through therapy and seeing the dr. I didn't have apid like I did before the fusion (after the accident if got worse) My question is, I have been told that I have to get a lawyer from NC and CA to file suit against the insurance company. I have medical damages from that accident. I will eventually have to have another fusion of my spine done as well because of that accident. But, if I get both lawyers that will kill any amount of money I get from the insurance. WIth some fees as small as 25% I had heard and some more plus fees. It will leave me with nothing. Well something but nothing comparibly to what the lawyers get. I have heard that some lawyers will pay out of their fee if another lawyer is needed. HELP

My downstairs neighbors have many problems with child support, evictions from previous renters, and government benefits. They fight about it all the time loudly so we can hear them and talk on their cell phones right outside our window about their problems. I am afraid they are going to bring a lot of trouble probably with the police. What should I do about them- tell the landlord, tell the police when they get here because they have their mailing address as our address. (They are close apartments). I have children of my own and don't need any problems. PLEASE HELP!!

This is a bill that the liberals are trying to get passed that would give the children of ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS reduced tuition at our universities. This is outragous.
These people get better protection then those that are born here.
Of course, the largest supporter of this act is good ol' red-nosed Kennedy. What is this man thinking?
These people are here illegally, THEY HAVE NO RIGHTS AT ALL!!!!
Now, we are supposed to spend more of our tax dollars so that they can get an education!!
THIS MAKES ME SICK!
How do feel about it?

In Europe companies, businesses, and non-essential entities (not hospitals, ect) will be fined if they try and force people to work on national holidays or dock their pays for this. In America most workers are forced to work on these days with no extra pay or choice. Or, if they do get the holiday there is no pay at all for many. It is so insulting to see many veterans having be forced to work on their holiday with no compensation. This includes this Memorial Day where many people have lost their loved ones in this time of war. People need time to enjoy life & be with friends and family. Children get these holidays and many parents are forced to put them in daycare and pay extra for this. Shouldn't the US Government mandate that all employers must respect these holidays? What is the point of having them if most Americans are not allowed to observe them? Hospitals and such things must be excluded, but really! Can we live one day without going to Wal-Mart?

In my job tasks, it says at the end "other duties assigned". I have found over the past 4 years that means that when the small personnel office (3 employees) is closed due to staffing, I am the one that everone goes to for answers and assignments usually set up by the personnel department. I have also found that I am asked to make managerial decisions even by other managers in the division (I am an admin associate). I am asked to put in purchase orders and work orders (to maintenance dept) for over 6 locations that are not where I work, just because I know the system. These things are not listed in my original job duties, but my boss seems to think they are with the "other duties assigned". I am working up to 4 people's job sometimes. Help.

My husband and I acquired a loan through a mortgage company; I'll call this loan company 'A'. We sent our first mortgage payment to this company in March, and then we received a letter stating that our loan had been sold, and that all further payments would be due to loan company 'B', starting as of April 1st.

We received our payment coupon from loan company 'B' the next week, stating that our first payment was due May 1st. We made this payment to company ‘B’.

We then received a letter from loan company 'A' stating that they were going to foreclose on our loan.

Company 'A' had forwarded our first check we sent to them to company 'B' without notifying us.

There is no way we can afford to pay a double payment one to both companies, for the payment they didn't accept and forwarded to company ‘B’ back in March.

Can they do this?

Our loan is now with loan company ‘B’.

Ex makes like 11.50/hr, I make 15.75...... we have 2 children together................. the current amount that gets jacked out of his check by wage assignment is WAY too much (my laywer based it off of his last known income, b/c at court time, he ddnt have a job, and was just STARTING one that day, but couldnt give me paperwork that said how much he made so he could pay a fair amount. So it's based on him making $35,000/yr)...... but we are headed back to court in June...and I just wonder what my $270/week is going to go down to...... ???? I cannot access the child support worksheet page off the child support website due to not being able to download the stuff at work......help?

So here's my story.

My moms parents bought a house during the WWII era in Sarasota Florida.(Of course all the little retards built everything up and killed precious wild life)

But my mom was born in that house, she was the 2nd of 3 kids.
When she was in her mid 20's she got married to a man that her parents didnt approve of and they had me, 5 years later my sister.

During that time we never owned a house, we lived in the Cuban and Black ghettos of Bradenton.

We just rented dinky old apartments and broke down cottages.

So a couple years ago my mom and dad divorced and shortly after my dad died(R.I.P. dad luv ya, Tsalagi Warrior) and my mom, sister, and I moved back into my mom's childhood home.

Her dad is dead, one of her bros is married, and the other lives at home with my Grandma, my mom, my sister, and me.

My grandma says that the 3 of us have to move out when I'm 18.

Does my mom have any entitlement or partial ownership to the house?

is there a statute of limitations on this type of thing? I think as a parent now, that the sicko that molested me as a kid should have to register and let others know he is a sick freak. Is it too late to press charges? He started doing things to me 25 yrs ago. It ended 15 yrs ago. Didn't report him to cops when I went thru counsiling due to him being a relative. Did I wait too long?

Today I got in massive trouble for the following email.

"Hi! I delivered the notes in your mailbox at 10:00 today, but the lady at the front desk was really lame and refused to time-stamp it. She said she was too busy, but all she was doing was completing a sudoku puzzle. She should be fired, by the way. Anyways, I still delivered them, and myself wrote a stickie note on it with time of delivery. Have a good day!"

Apparently, they pinned me on "disrespect/defiance".
The thing is, I had a huge project to turn into class, and I knew that I would be gone due to a dentist appointment. I told this to my teacher, and she said to turn it into the office with a time stamp, or else she would not take it. The email was to my teacher, and apparently she decided it was threatening and shared it with the counselors. I have been given saturday work detail. I feel I have been wronged. What steps are appropriate to take? Why was I nailed on opinion? What happened to free speech?
