No way. Unless you work for the State like a cop, army or emergency personel, etc. But usually only during big big emergency.
Only Jack Bauer (24) can works and kick a$$ for 24 hours strait.
Who is doing that?

Depends on the job...I know I have worked about 60 some odd hours stright....was between two EMS jobs. I work in 24 hour shifts at full time job now. But as far as working condtions go, I don't think there is mandate on how many hours as long as there are plenty of rest breaks allowed.

Legally, no, but it depends on the job. Some jobs require long hours and if that is what you plan to do for your career, then you should do it or rethink your goals.
My longest non stopp day was over 50 hours!! I was a zombie by the end but I did it because that was what the job required.

No. Even in the military, they have to give you one hour rest per 24 hour period, and there's a limit to how long they can keep you on that schedule.

Maybe...
In most jurisdictions, OT is *voluntary*, you can not be forced to work it.
However, talk to someone cognizant in the Labour Laws in your area. (Lawyer, Labour Leader, union rep, etc...)
