How do you feel about second homes? Are they a viable commodity that people should enjoy if they can afford it? Or are they a symbol of excess, that damages the livelihoods of people who live in rural areas that can't afford to buy their own homes?

I was a commission sales rep and paid someone half of my commission on a sale that he made but i closed becuase he left the company. I was doing a nice thing. He now is saying that I owe him $250 more dollars and is threatening to garnish my wages because we had an agreement. There is nothing in writing, it was all verbal and I paid him half. I have the cancelled check but nothing that proves how much i was paid on it.

It has been a reoccuring problem that students have had their lunch Taken Away but the lunch ladies durring lunch do to their accounts being negative. Today 1/4 of my lunch shift had their lunch trays ripped out of their hands. I myself had .60 left and they took it away.
I partialy understand why, (though this question is only half of the problem)
But me and some fellow students are trying to find a law stating that the school has to provide us with lunch if we so choose. But we cant find any sites with laws. So i ask.. Is it required that they provide us with lunch?

I believe that they don't have the right to know anything about your medical issues, like if you have HIV or HEP C. But, what if your doctor appointments interfere with your work schedule? Like once every couple of weeks, at that point must you disclose? Or do you have the right to maintain its for a medical condition and keep it confidential? Do they have the right to demand to know unless you're fired?

He says he can regardless if I sign the papers or not. He has made a few home improvements, remodling and painting. I have built a woodworking shop hoping to make a small business out of it, he claims the shop is all mine and refuses to invest a dime into it saying its all mine and it was built to help me compensate my Social Security in the future. I built it with the understanding that we were not going to sell the property and keep it in the family. He didnt tell me about selling the property until after I had it built.

I have several folks that have told me that they are still allowing their kids tages 18 to 23, to ride on their health insurance even though they know their kid has either dropped out of high school or college. How does the Insurance Industry handle this type of fraud...??? the folks i spoke too did not have any special requirements from the insurance company. How do they check this for fraud? If they don't they should....I see no special requirements.....And this type of fraud will come out of the pockets of the tax payers...which is you and I.
In the State of NJ, which requires, secondary and college students over the age of 18 , to continue to be covered on the parents medical insurance until the age of 23.
What is the insurance industry's procedure for continued medical for kids over 18 and still in school?

I got a ticket for driving w/o insurance.... twice in one week. I had two differant court dates and never recieved anything in the mail stating when my court dates were... Knowing that I had them I went to the court house to find out when they were and was told I missed both and a warrant for my arrest was sent out and also 2 suspensions.... another suspension was sent out, which equals 3.. So I changed the court date on April 12th, the judge withheld adjudication and just charged me court costs and gave me until june 15th to pay them... So now the DMV sent me a letter saying my license is being revoked because of the 3 suspensions the court gave me... and the court house couldn't do anything to help me until after it will be revoked, but the clerk of the courts saw on my first ticket that the police officer wrote my address wrong and that is why i never recieved a letter, the second ticket I didn`t have my license on me and the cop used my previous address and never asked .....

Hi I(we) have started a one consultancy Business after taking Franchise form well known Consultancy (Hyd based) at Bangalore. But The Consultancy CEO cheated us by giving dummy requirements ( his plan was to use us for his CV data base creation) and we worked on those requirements with 6 Employees for 8 Months and we lost 10L. The reason that he gave us was "our management failure"...then we told him to run our consultancy with his Team for 5 Months with target of 16L (Actually he gave us a target of 96L for 1 Year)... after running 5 months he was not able to generate 1L also. Now he is saying that he is not sharing our loses . What action i can take ?

This question has arise because I found myself in a place where I had to use the North Carolina Industrial Commission to help with an injury. I have found that there is a ton of red tape, filing forms, motions etc. Large companies are backing attorneys to make sure laws are in the favor of the companies. For the most part, the injured worker is pushed out of work, or force back before the doctor has release them. The attorneys are working for the companies and the large companies are controling the guidelines of the laws. The bottom line is who is watching out for the injured worker?

I used to live a apartment with one roommate. I didn't like his behavior, so I moved out to the other apartment. I found a person who would take my place.
There had paid rent fee right on time. However, a landlord of the previous apartment, he called me today, they haven't received a rent fee. There was a late fee. One who subleted my place , he actually paid rent fee. But the guy who I used to live. He didn't paid the rent fee, and he told me, "I haven't paid specially to piss you off. I figure you annoy me enought to warrant it." If he does not pay the rent fee, do I have to sue him? Also, there is one more question. When I was fighting him about 5 months ago. He told me, "You can't speak English, Go back your contry." I pushed him into a wall. He didn't get injured, so didn't report. However, when I said him, "If you don't pay the rent fee, I will sue you." He told me, "You know that you physically assaulted me a couple months ago." will I charged in battery or felony?
who'll win?

I have looked everywhere for the answer and cannot seem to find it, Maybe someone knows....

I moved to Florida to be with my boyfriend, He is on probation and considered a sexual offender because of consentual sex with a minor that had lied about her age, He is still on probation but i want to move home with my family in another state, does anyone know if it is at all possible to move to another state transfer probation and everything to a new state??? the only thing i have found is...

With a considerable number of sexual offenders moving from state to state, a method of keeping track of offenders was addressed in this revision.

A sexual predator or sexual offender who intends to establish residence in another state or jurisdiction shall notify the sheriff of the county of current residence or FDLE within 48 hours before the date he or she intends to leave this state to establish residence in another state or jurisdiction. but thats for people not on probation

I've looked. I can't find it. The first amendment states:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
OK......how does not making a law respecting an estalishment of religion translate into "seperation of church and state?"
Thats like saying "congress shall not make a law about what color you can wear" translates into "you can ony wear white or black in a government facility."
Makes about as much sense. So where is this term "seperation of church and state?"

Do you think society is accepting too much and perhaps these kids need better discipline by their parents? What do you think started all these kids threatening to shoot up their schools? We have already had 2 or 3 schools closed up for a day because of threatening notes put in the bathrooms or called in the schools threatening another Virginia like incident. Kids seem to be acting out evil these days, beating each other up in the cafeteria, bringing guns to school, forcing police officers to walk the halls to manage the crime in the classroom.. Who is responsible for all this?

I was sexually harrased (I would never sue for that) but after word the company saw me as a liability and did horrible things to me to try to push me out, one of the main managers felt this was wrong and she left the company with all the email proof etc of what they were doing and is going to testify. They have offered to settle for 100k which I turned down I am just a little anxious and curious if anyone knows how cases like this will usually end up in California thanks

Is this logical? Is this a permanent solution? Is it moral to create a second class citizen by law (restrictions of living 3000 feet from a school etc)? What about other communities? Will they be forced to pass the same laws so "they aren't in my backyard" too? Then doesn't the USA need to create "sex offender cities" that have NO families in them?
