hi, i've been trying my hardest to find any laws regarding bee keeping in the state of hawaii, particularly the legal distance between a bee hive and a road, if there is such a law. any and all help is welcome. thanks in advance.

Interesting...So far, the only thing I can find on this topic is that honey bees are on the list of insects that have been designated as pests in Hawaii. Perhaps the reason you're not finding anything on beekeeping is because there is none there? See page 4 of the document below.

Hmmm...appears I was not wholly correct. Below is a link to the Hawaii Beekeepers Association, which may offer you some help.

Please note that as of April 12, 2007, honey bees have been quarantined, due to a mite that was found at one of the local colonies, according to a press release posted on the HBA website.
