Ex makes like 11.50/hr, I make 15.75...... we have 2 children together................. the current amount that gets jacked out of his check by wage assignment is WAY too much (my laywer based it off of his last known income, b/c at court time, he ddnt have a job, and was just STARTING one that day, but couldnt give me paperwork that said how much he made so he could pay a fair amount. So it's based on him making $35,000/yr)...... but we are headed back to court in June...and I just wonder what my $270/week is going to go down to...... ???? I cannot access the child support worksheet page off the child support website due to not being able to download the stuff at work......help?

Well, its obviously going to be different from state to state, but I know here in MO(lake of the ozarks area, not too far from TN ;) )a lot of times they will use his "earning potential." In wother words, it will never go down, even if he started working a part time job at minmum wage because they figure, he should be doing what he can and he's not.

It depends on how the judge feels about it. The judge does NOT have to change it at all! If you are agreeing to a reduction in child support, the judge will reduce it. Otherwise, it just depends on the judge.
