How can anybody say what Blacks shouldn't recieve, you've never been black and were still going through slavery, just a different form of it. NO i don't wont a hand out, I wont a hand up. I grew up in the hood all my life, and things are still different from the so called white side of town than the black side of town. Go to an all black school, and an all white school and tell me if you see the difference, I do. I grew up with carmel skin, and I know how it feel to have someone look down on you because of that, and to get skipped over because a lot of whites think we wre all the same.I have a flashy car with rims and loud music, but I've work hard to get my house and everything else, and I am a grand daughter of a slave.

Would you complain/protest?
Recently, while cruising through a small Mayberry type town close by i noticed on the lawn of what i believe is their courthouse or city hall a large rock with the Ten Commandments written on it. Personally, i dont care one way or another-but im just curious. How many here would protest to try to have this removed if it were in your town?

I was in a really bad place last year and I let someone take advantage of me financially and she told me that she would pay me back but she never did. We signed a paper and everything and I was wondering is it too late to take her to court to get the money that she owes me and me more. Does anyone know?

I have requested that she not knock on my door and if she has any issues with me to communicate through her lawyer if she is taking me to court. (we are in argument over our kids, long story short) She put a note in my mailbox. my question is, wouldn't that be against the law for her to put anything in my mailbox?

Someone borrowed my car and wound up in an accident that was their fault. I have asked that person to share in the responsibilty by paying the deductible. Due to another accident on my insurance, my premiums are going to be going up ($1,200.00) over a three year period. Do you feel its fair for me to expect that person to cover my extra charges or that there is any legal there that I would win in small claims court? I live in IL.

My boss offers profit sharing to employees only on projects exceeding $50,000. Most of these jobs are larger scale commercial type jobs. I work out of the shop and am told my profit sharing is working year round and being close to home. This year I have been layed off due to lack of work for 2+ months, some benefit huh? Most of the commercial guys work year round also, maybe a month or two layed off at the most. They also work within driving distance of their homes. Also, the foreman get to take their vehicles home everynight. In some instances, I believe I could and/or should be considered a residential foreman, I do most of the home wiring for the company. I don't get the luxury of taking the company van home. There are still a lot of responsibilities being a residential FOREMAN. I could ramble on about this topic for hours, but all I would like to know is if there is something that could be done about this mistreatment of a hard working, taken advantage of electrician

it's an anti abortion essay.

READ ALL OF THIS PLEASE:

"Do you consider something with a beating heart a living creature? "

OR

"If it is impossible to abort a baby in the ninth month, then what makes it ok to do in the fifth or sixth month"

OR

"Why is it that if an infant is destroyed a month before the birth, there is no problem, but if killed a month after birth, this is inhumane murder?"

OR

MAKE UP ONE FOR ME THAT IS BETTER THAN THE ABOVE.

my school district has failed to present any of the students in my class with diplomas- at this time it has been over 9 months. (since june). because of their failure, I am unable to attend college. not only is it putting off my life, but since the deadline for scholarships has past, I will be unable to attend for a full year, since they are only available for first semester students. in addition, upon my 19th birthday, I cannot be claimed as a dependent by my dad, since after 19 I can only be claimed as such if I attend college. in summary, a lot of money and potential money is being lost over this. so I need to know how to go about suing the school district responsible- Santa Clara County Office Of Education (SCCOE). I don't have any experience in suing, so if anyone can give me something to go on, even phone number or reference would be great, thanks

I have read accounts of the effects of tasers (high voltage stun guns that shoot needles into a person's body). When the police use a taser first they shoot the person and then adjust the electrical shock to control the person. There is an account of a female bartender that was shot in the breast and had to have it removed.

Sure, the police encounter dangerous people but they have guns to defend lives by shooting and they have clubs to beat for lessor dangers and now if a person threatens a policeman or does not comply the person can be tasered. Keep in mind there is one other alternative which is not to cause harm to the other person by .... negotiating or interpersonal communication. Tasering seems like treating people like animals and is dangerous to long term health.
