An individual I know has been indicted with 10 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor Dangerous Crimes a Class 2 Felony. The way the law works in his state is min 10 years prison per count consecutively.

The way the law states is a person commits sexual exploitation of a minor by knowingly: Distributing, transporting, exhibiting, RECEIVING, selling, purchasing, electronically transmitting, possessing or exchanging any visual depiction in which a minor is engaged in exploitive exhibition or other sexual conduct.

The individual I know may be a person who likes porn, but he is not a pedophile. 10 videos were downloaded accidentally using Limewire but he failed to delete them.

I feel the extent of this law was made for individuals who have serious problems, but the way the law states is even a minor offender must get what a serious offender deserves. Obviously the individual I know knows he made a horrible mistake but having to face 100 years in prison is way to extreme in my opinion

We have been having an on going property dispute with our neighbor. They have resorted to calling the police on us constantly, and sad to say the police are taking there side. They have informed he to video tape our every move, and to file restraining order. I know we are not perfect people but we do nothing that will hurt them, exept live our daily lives. Is it right for them to tape us in our daily activities?

I am wondering when you adopt a child from birth, as in taking the child home from the hospital with the paperwork already signed. What are the laws in regards to the birth mother changing her mind after you have taken the baby home? Can she just get custody back? Is there a statute of limitations? Any answers greatly appreciated..

Ok, so your a drug dealer, you get arrested you might spend 2 years in prison, back on the streets doing your thing again, you commit murder, you probably spend max 5 years unless you have good time or the jails are over crowded, possibly out in 3 years, or you just get life and sit there with 3 square meals a day, living it up normally just being babysat by an adult authoritive figure, I feel they should send all these criminals, drug dealers, gang bangers, etc, to the Middle-east or to Guantanmo Bay. We tax payers fund the prisoners in America anyway.

My brother got mad and killed my dog. He was fed up with dog pooping on the floor and not staying in the yard so he got his rifle and shot him in the head. He has anger issues and he took it out on a defenseless animal. I believe he belongs in jail for what he did but my family does not agree. I went to the police and filed a report with animal control.I guess I just want to know how others view this, if what I did was the right thing. I am very upset about this, I love my brother but I think he needs help, and I don't know what else to do. He also admitted to killing our previous dog by kicking it to death. We just thought he died of natural causes. Please help and please no rude comments. Thanks

Can a dentist's office (or any medical care provider for that matter) withhold your records if you owe them a bill? What if you are making monthly payments on that bill? Are there different rules from state to state? (I'm in Texas, in case it matters.)

Thanks...

Proof once again that all the democrats care about is trying to make themselves look like the good guys. Maybe they should show just how much they care and investigate all the pardons Clinton made on his last day in office and how many of those pardoned had been charged because of CLINTON'S scandals. Otherwise we see right through all this smoke and mirrors crap they're pulling now.

The executee/trustor is a FL resident. And is the will/trust in question, valid for the individual who is now a FL resident, or should a new one be drawn up, specific for FL? Most all of the assets (house, investments etc.) are in FL. Thanks!
