If you are having a driving lesson with a qualified instructor ans are caught speeding, who pays the fine and haves the points. You as the learner driver or the qualified insructor.

Its you because you are driving and the instructor is there for guidance and support only.

You certainly, but a charge of ‘Aiding and Abetting’ can also be brought against the instructor if he is found to have encouraged you to drive in a careless or dangerous manner, i.e. by letting you speed without taking steps to prevent it, or telling you to get a move on because he's late for the next lesson. Generally the same penalties apply.

The driving instructor is responsible for the vehicle whilst he or she is providing a lesson. If you crash or get flashed by a speed camera it is him or her that is responsible for it.
That's why they charge so much! Because they are taking a considerable risk.

it is the driver regardless of whether they are a learner or not. There was a fairly recent case locally which was very short as the principle was tried and tested quite a while ago.

Erm if he/ she allowed you to speed, they are not doing there job . You will get the points as you were in charge of the car.
