Perhaps they thought you looked like someone they were looking for. Then when they saw your face they realized it wasn't true.

I know the feeling, i start work at 5am and i get followed all the time too, i wouldn.t worry about it tho.. They probably just wanna check that you ain't up to no good... Lets be honest, if you are doing nothing wrong then the police can sit behind you all day why should you care?? Its not like they are going to invent something just to get you into trouble, they have enough to do without inventing work!!

Anyway, Believe me, If they thought you were a "bad person" you'd have been stopped every time they see you..

I think you better get used to it if your going to be working those hours, where I live that is a suspicious hour to be driving and your almost always followed and pulled over. But if your not doing anything wrong, your license and insurance are valid, your cars legal, and your not high or carrying any drugs or drug paraphernalia or weapons etc then you have nothing to worry about.Just know that eventually there gonna pull you over and there going to be checking you to see if they can get ya on any of the above, and or just to see whats up,hey ya know that officer could be on the same route as you to get home or to wherever hes going, don't be so paranoid, unless you have reason then by all means be paranoid......they'll be behind you again.

If you are an ethnic minority perhaps this has something to do with it and the time you are leaving work. The police have to be very alert and check on anything suspicious. At the end of the day we would be complaining if the police were not being vigilant, its just a shame you are innocently being watched.

I think you may just be paranoid.
You may have :
expired tag, headlight out, taillight out, lights set wrong to were they are too bright, brake light out.
or
they could be watching for a particular person that may drive the same vehicle you drive, fit your description ect..
or
just the simple fact that its 2 in the a.m. and they have nothing better to do.
my advice
Don't drink and drive
wear a seatbelt
don't pick up hitchhikers
Just say no to drugs!
wear a seatbelt
and you'll be fine

It's 2 o'clock in the morning. You're one of the few vehicles on the road, they follow you to run your licence plates and see who you are, they don't pull you over because you probably have a clean record.

Maybe a certain crime always happens at that time of the night when you get off of work. If you see a cop behind you, pull over so he can get by you so he won't be slowed down.

I would guess that its simp,y the fact that a lot of night clubs close around that time and so occasionally they will get a drunk driving around that time. If my guess is right they watch your driving and because it's ok they work out that you are not drunk. You are reading too much into it.

Forget about it. If you have done nothing wrong there is nothing to worry about.
You may fit the description of somebody they want or they may just follow the same route you do on certain nights.
Forget about it.

its probably your car, maybe it fits a description of a car that was involved in illegal matters. and if you are leaving work at 2 in the morning i wonder what kind of work you have, maybe the business you are working with is in trouble, start asking collegues
or paranoia
