With the growing trend of "pocket" dogs, I have noticed an alarming number of people bringing these animals into restaurants in their purses. It's bad enough when you travel to Europe but do we have to put up with it here? From a health standpoint, is this legal or are the restaurant owners in violation of any health codes? I am not an animal hater. In fact I have two dogs myself - whom I leave at home when I go out to eat. But quite frankly, eating in an establishment that turns a blind eye to customers bringing in their pets grosses me out. I know that I'll probably offend a lot of people with this post but I think that I, a US citizen who votes and pays taxes should be afforded a teeny bit more respect and rights than a dog. Is there any legal code that I can qoute to the manager to have the pet removed?

A friend is living commonlaw with her boyfriend and he won't file his taxes as common law because he is afraid his ex-wife, whom he is separated from, will get her refund. He is in arrears from not paying his maintenance on his son a fews years back. He is now currently paying the maintenance on his son.
Can his wife go after her money? She is a money grabber who hardly works because she is lazy. They live in Canada. The wife does not live in the same province as them.

I recently asked about how to get a child taken from his/her parent. ( See http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ao1NDUbl3zhgSGkOhzNishLsy6IX?qid=20070225195324AAr7Rha) But anyways...I talked to my dad and he called CPS. The woman's case is pending or whatnot. It's been pending for about a week. Is there anyway to speed up the process?

The woman has been vandalising (sp) her old house and its my dad's property. My dad is pressing charges and if she goes to jail it'll be better to have her kids somewhere safe.

I want her kids taken NOW and I want her in jail!!!!!!! How come the police won't just pick her up? They know where she is and we have proof that she did the vandalising!

I have also learned the hard way by taking on a job with Chris Nallan and performing some work for this individual, after numerous calls and several trips to his house which is located at 2512 Narin Way in Gilroy, CA, he has failed to pay me for the work which has been completed.

What is your neighborhood like?

Mine is all 2-3 bedroom houses. No apartments or condo's. The people who live here are (a) retired, mostly from New York, (b) working; mostly either construction or office jobs, (c) many with kids, mostly have dogs, (d) many whites, some blacks, and a few hispanics. Never see any asians here.
I guess the entire neighborhood is about 50 houses. Flat land in South Florida facing the turnpike.

I wish to find out how many people agree with me. I don't think the judge should make the decision. He is only one person and he may be prejudiced. I saw a program where a young lady shot her stepfather to death because he had been sexually abusing her since she was a little girl. She was found guilty of the murder and sentenced to life in prison. Maybe the judge was sexually abusing his daughter! From my point of view this was a justifiable homicide.

My ex husband hasn't paid his court ordered child support in a month and yet still wants to see our sont every other weekend. When I told him I didn't feel right letting our son go with him he claimed I was breaking the law by denying his parental rights. There isn't a court ordered visitation agreement and our son has been in my custody since he abandoned us. Is what he saying about "parental rights" true or have any basis?

We moved here from out of town and as soon as the weather turned half way decent discovered there is a 7 day a week sun-up to sun-down gun range just blocks away (hidden behind a huge bank of trees). This is unbearable. No one disclosed this to us so I am thinking who should we sue first.
