Should people who turn in a class project late(after the due date) receive a penalty such as points deducted or a lower grade than the people who turned it in on time?

I'm on 100 mcq/hr fentanyl patch changed every 48 hrs. It started with every 72 hrs. I've been on this medicine for over 2 years. My doctor is a Gastroenterologist. Actually I see 3 of them. I've gotten many different opinions. They all say the same. I have genetic pancreatitis. I want to know if I should sue the doctor for putting me on this or the Sandoz company for not making the products correctly. My doctor never told me anything about this drug, and the company does not make the patch to last 72 hrs. I go threw horrible withdrawls. I even black out and hurt myself, or so I'm told. I've had to go to the hospital several times for this, even have been taken away by ambulance. My doctor started me out on tamodal, then codeine, then morphine. The morphine made my stomach upset so my doctor put me on fentanyl. This was all in about 4 months. Nobody told me I would go threw withdrawls like this. Nothing in the pamphlets about this. Hello,
About 6 months ago I made a really bad mistake by Stealing food with my roomates, no money can sometimes cause people to step out of themselfs and make very bad choices, this occasion would have to be my worst mistake to date. We tried stealing food and got caught basically, I got a fine of around 245 dollars or so, it was also a misdemeanor, I didn't get any other fines or probation or anything. After we stole, the company said we would each have to pay them a heafty amount, but after court, I never heard from the company and we never received anything about paying them. Anyways, my question is, do you think this has gone on my permanant record? I moved out of the state (Arizona) to California to try and get my life going, I am currently 20. Does this sound like it would be on my record? I am worried about job oppertunities, but I know it was my fault and will have to reap the consiquences

I have a friend who says that the police came to his house and asked to come inside and look for a stolen television. He claims that he said "No." and shut the door.

I was paid a certain amt. for 8 hrs. of wk., but now my employer has determined our wk. day to be 8 1/2 hrs.
& is paying me the same amt. This makes my hrly. rate less. Is this legal in Texas? I work 34 hrs. per wk. now (instead of 32) for the same amt. of money. Please help.

My child (liitle girl) born out of wedlock ,sept 12 2001.Court Order was established April 04, visitation and support by father was going fine, in 2006 father was unemployed and got a DUI and loss his drivers lic Oct 05. I filed with Child Support Ser. because he stoped paying child support and he stoped folowing court orders, I made a appointment with Mediation to resolve. we had agreed that as many times I had to drive to drop my daughter off and pick her up from fathers residence he would have to repay in as many drives I did, when he received his Lic. back , june 27, 06 , he received his Lic. back and quit his job(garnishments were being established ) and moved to Las Vegas,he has only seen his daughter 3 times in sept for 48 hrs, Jan for 48 hrs and March 48 hrs, Child support (DA) is doing a modification and were schuduled to go march 26, 07 tuesday, Well, I was just served march 23,07 father requesting for me to attend mediation and his sworn Documentation that I received has lies in it,saying I insult him to our 5yr daughter and that custody should be changed and requesting me to drive midpoint to Las Vegas or to pay half of airfare, I do not feel I should pay anything since it was his choice to move to Las vegas and he is now requesting 8 weeks straight (summer visitation) for my 5yr old daughter this transition would be bad for my daughter she is very close to me and vistiation with him has not been in consistant bases. He lives in the home of his girlfriends parents.I do not know them I am in fear of my child being surrounded by people I do not know especialy with his past choices and he does have a drinking problem he gets very violent & (verbal),He has no patience with my 5yr old daughter she has repeatly said to me that in the times she is with him in his care he hits and slaps her.I have called the police but the police have told me I cannot do anything because there are no brusies, can you help me please.

My company has really been stressing importance in saving money and has suggested all employees consider more efficient ways to improve productivity. I figured a great way to save the company money was to discover and then report illegal or unscrupulous activity in the workplace.

My first instinct was correct. For years, I suspected the toilet paper in the men’s room did not measure up with what the box stated. I measured several rolls of toilet paper and found they only had 200 sheets as opposed to the 320 sheets stated in the contract with the supplier.

My employer demanded the toilet paper vendor make things right and was awarded $28,100 for years of being deceived. My compensation for saving the company nearly $30,000? I was given a few extra days off!!! What is this? Don’t I legally deserve a cut of this money?

My parents fled to Canada during the Vietnam conflict. I was born there. They came back to the U.S.A. when I was still a newborn. They were both born here. I went to school here all my life. Paid taxes/worked here. Married and had kids here. Have had a drivers license in WI. and IL. with a perfect record. Yet, I just moved and need a new driver's license, and they say I need proof of citizenship! They are treating me like I just fled over the border or something and need a green card, yet I have lived and worked here legally all my life! What now, and When I passed my eighth grade constitution test and was also issued my SS#, why is it a problem now? I will be driving illegally untill they let me renew my license!

From the beginning it never worked the full 72 hrs. As time went on, I started to have very bad withdrawls. I have terrible anxiety, cold sweats, sleeplessness, yawing, panic attacks, high blood pressure, just to drop. You name it, I go threw it. I even black out, and throw myself around. So I'm told. There is nothing written on the patient or doctor information about this. In fact it says that if I stop taking it, I may experience withdrawls that is it. Nothing about, it may only last 48 hrs for some, and others 72. My doctor tried tamodal, codeine, morphine, then fentanyl. All in about 4 months. Not sure why he went so high. Told him the morphine made my stomach upset, so he put me on fentanyl. He never explained anything, just that it might be a little hard to get off this drug. Any advice? Thanks
