See my question on veiwpoint if you dont understand....

1.) how could I be so naieve?
2.) isnt spyware illegal?
3.) If it isnt, how do I get on the payroll?

Spyware is not illegal if the user agrees to use it, then it's just software! Any time you download a free screen saver, new fonts, etc, read that huge Agreement contract they have you agree too...it says: "Hello! You are about to get a free product from us, but we have to pay our bills, so, would you like these cool products from our affiliates as well?" .

Let's put it this way: Congress considers the Internet a series of tubes. It may be illegal on the surface, but you can get around any law in terms of computers because congress doens't know squat about them.
