Quit the company. Any company these days only care about dollars and not it's employees. They would lay you off in a second w/o thinking twice.

Guess you are quite new at the job thing. You are being paid to do your job. Part of your job is to save your company money. You did a good job, so you were rewarded with a few days off. Unles you signed a contract up front when you were hired, then no they are not legally required to give you anything. So, be happy.

No, you did your job. That was a requirement from your work and plus you stated it was your idea. Since it was something you chose to do why should you expect more after the fact. You would expect your job to still pay you even if you didn't save them money, but now you want extra in return. I think you should just feel good in the fact that you did a good thing.

No, they did not promise any money back for saving money,
They did not even have to give a few days off.
As an employee they "own" any ideas you come up with, and employees because they are employees are suppose to be trying to save thier companies money for the benifit of being able to keep thier job

Unless it was stated up front that there was a reward they owe you nothing. If the days off are paid days off they are being pretty generous. As someone else said the company you work for owns your ideas. They may want to know if you counted TP squares on company time. You may owe them.

You are entitled to your salary, but unless your company wishes to award you, you are not entitled to any more for doing your job. Counting TP sheets is not something I would have thought of though, you are very observant. If I were your boss you would receive more than a few days off.

Oh for pity's sake, no.
Compensating a company what is an entry-level position's yearly salary does not entitle you to a "cut" of it.
Neither would you saving the busniness millions.
Be glad you got a few days off.

Unless you have it in writing, your company is not legally obligated to award you a "cut" of the savings.
However, when your yearly review comes around, you have a tasty nugget to refer to, in getting a nice raise...
