I hate to sound desperate, but, I looked in every area I know, I am stumped.

I need to set up a presentation with these questions so people can understand them. My trouble is I find parts of information but not every thing. please help....
Here are the questions.

1) The statutory authority for the creation of federal law enforcement agencies.

2) The Office of the United States Attorney

3) Discuss the difference between the federal agent vs. a state or local law enforcement officers.

4) What is the source of federal law as opposed to state/local law?

5) Identify and explain the role of the U.S. Attorney in the federal criminal process.

6) describe The structure of the federal judiciary,

7) How is the decision made as to when a crime is investigated/prosecuted as a federal matter rather than a state one? Does it make sense to have dual criminal statutes in both systems which cover the same offense?

thank you so much if you can help...

My daughter is 15 years old. A month ago we had a family situation and she was a witness. Now there is gonna be a court hearing held on April 3 and we recieved a letter that she is required to go to confirm the situation. It was aslo said in the letter that if she does not appear in court that day she will be given a warrant for an arrest. She does not want to appear in court and say anything because the outcome of the situation is depended on the information she provides. If you had a situation like this before or know anything about it please answer. Should she go to court or is it ok if she doesnt?

I already asked this in the pregnancy section but did not get any good responses...

I didn't wear a condom one time that I had a lapse in judgement and hooked up with another college student. Unfortunately she became pregnant. While I am against abortion because it's against Christ's teachings (even though she's not a Christian), we both decided that adoption was the best option.

However, I just found out that she plans to give up MY baby to a GAY COUPLE that she selected at the adoption agency! I don't want my child to be homosexual or think it's an acceptable lifestyle so what's the best way to avoid having this happen? I have talked to her and she doesn't seem to think it's a problem.

She already had me give up the parental rights though, after we decided on adoption BUT before she selected the gay couple...so is there any recourse? I wanted the parents to be Christians. Can I take her to court over this? My parents are very wealthy and hiring a good lawyer should be no problem.

I just turned 17 and I was wondering what my new legal rights are. I know that town curfew no longer applies to me (not that I ever really followed it in the first place) But I was wondering if 17 is the legal age of consent (meaning I can date whoever I want) Does anyone know for sure??? Also, are there any other rights I am not aware of?? I live in Illinois.

First thing you should know is there haven't been any events or any reason to question my psychological fitness. You'll have to trust me on that. I have been hoping for a promotion at work. Basically, I meet the criteria and the promo should be automatic.

So the executive who could grant my promotion decides to hire his friend to run some psychological tests on me. They said they just wanted to evaluate the process (being sold by the friend) and see if this would be a good thing for others. I didn't feel I could refuse without jeopardizing my job. So I took the tests and am in the process of working through the results with the tester. The whole process will take several months. Nothing serious was found, in fact I look pretty good in it.

Now they say they won't consider promoting me while I am doing this. I'll now miss the only time of year I can get promoted.

Is there anything illegal about this? I have a feeling there is. I need advice from someone who would know.

Sold a 1990 Ford Ranger told them the overdrive didn't work in the transmission. 2 weeks later got a letter from a lawyer saying I didn't tell her about the overdrive and it was a good running vehicle. She drove this truck to work and I asked her how she liked it and she said she didn't know yet she had only driven home then to work. Now 2 weeks later I received this. I live in Michigan and I need to know what my chances would be if taken to court. Also she said I could give $1500.00 to her to fix it. I was hoping it could just be a sensor or something cheap to fix . So instead of fixing it I sold it , under $1000.00 thinking if they fix it they would have a pretty good truck it only has 114,000 miles and the inside and outside are decent. What should I do Help Please!!!
