Your question lacks some important information like in which state or country this minor lives, and with whom he lives, is his mother and biological mother the same?. "In the United States, each state has its own laws regarding the emancipation of minors."
As your question, if not what he wants but what his state's law says about it. If he is granted enmancipation he can return to his bilogical mother; Once emancipated, a child is not guaranteed any aid from his or her parents; However, the minor may go in and out of emancipation for support.

Absolutely...once the child was 14 years old they could make the choice which parent to live with...anyway if the child is now emancipated then go where the heart and home is: so there! Hurray for you!

Once a child has been emancipated, they are considered an adult in the eyes of the law, and can go anywhere they want.
The exception would be either was under a restraining order or no-contact order, or some other situation-specific limit.

Yes it can. Once the child is emancipated, he or she is essentially an adult and can make that choices for themself.

Sure she can go back and see them. It just means they have no say on what she does at all. That will not change.
