Why are they not in prison? Why?

Why do they put lots of people in prison for rather mild crimes and then let the scum among scum, the worst criminals of all, live in their "hunting ground" of choice?

here's an article from when they did it last year. recently in new bedford, a factory that was an apparent modern day sweatshop was raided and dozens of children were left stranded at school. now these people are in proson and their loved ones who are very upset (obviously).
For everyone who thinks "illegal" immigrants should go home, shut up. they are people like us. God wants us to love everyone and i am apalled at how our government is treating people. if they were not ignorant, self righteous politicians with "grab your guns and protect the homeland" ideals, then young children would not be being treated this. this is very wrong. and i can't believe with how many have no compassion for other human beings. there was an 11th month investigation. so much money wasted on breaking up homes with hard working parents who made ****. they made backpacks for the army. go figure.

I live in Canada and as far as I know There isn't a regestry that is accessible to the public. I was just wondering if there is one, and if there isn't shouldn't there be one? I mean for all I know my neighbor could be a sexual freak and I definatly don't want to raise my child near one.

Basically I get a letter on Feb. 22, 2007 saying the above lawyer was applying for summary judgment and I had 10 days to file an answer. So I file my answer on March 5, 2007 but today get a letter saying that summary judgment was granted and it was filed on 2/27/07.
I't also read no oppositon. Apparently I did give an opposition. Some ran serious game on me.
Just wondering what can I do.
I'm thinking the lawyer sent his motion to me days after he sent it to the courts. Which would mean the judge would rule before he even gets my opposition.
His papers had 2 different dates on them. some had 2/9/07 and one had 2/12/07 but the letter was post marked on the 22nd. Any help is appreciated.
thanks

I can prove my state residency up to 5/1/06.If I don't prove an additional 2 months of residency so that It reads as one year [3/1/06] as an state resident I will lose my scholarship on that bacis.I work a minimum wage job and will otherwise be unable to afford the extra tuition fees. Please give me any Ideas or suggestions, but save any selfrighteous rhetoric as I am guilty of wanting an education..not a crime.Furthermore I deserve it since I have been to hell and back in my young life and shouldnt lose it based on a technicality of 2 months thank you very much.

They wouldn't let me use their new lawnmower so I didn't poo for a week then went and pooed 6 huge piles of poo all over their lawn. I then proceeded to write insulting remarks on their house in my poo. I then enetered their house (they keep their doors unlocked) and used every item of value in their living room for toilet paper. They say they'll put my butt in jail for years. Can they? I'm scared. The cops are coming!!!

i bought an old police cruiser that still had the stripes on it at an auction. i knew that the stripes had to go before i could drive it but last friday the city hall that the car came from called and said that it was not supposed to be sold with the stripes on it so they had to have it back to remove the stripes. so we took it back and they ripped off the stripes and some paint!! well they left scratches all down the side of it and took out spots of paint so that it now needs repainted i called the city and they dont want to do anything about it so do you think i have a chance at winning if i take them to court over? please serious people only (especially legal employees)

I got my W-2 and when i looked at the federal tax withheld section it was off about $800, however admittedly i did not keep my recent paystubs this being my first job i did not kno any better. i contacted my employer the second week in jan to ask for a duplicate paystub and the woman in payroll said they don't hav it so i figured i lucked out and i continued to file my tax and i got my fed refund but today i happened to stumble across a paystub from oct with the tax withheld already exceeded the amount they stated and from oct to dec i've earned about $3,000 what should i do to resolve this. as a side note i consistantly fight with my company with gettin paid and missing hrs, and checks altogether, so i don't believe this is a simple oversight on their part

child has spent the night out, the names of the people, etc... before I met my ex I was raped, lost a daughter, and was attacked and kidnapped from my home... needless to say, I went over the edge. I got some psychiatric help. Then I met my ex and married someone I didn't know, who lied about his age, how many times he'd been married, what he did for a living... he cleaned me out. He was a "Christian".... now 8 years later, I live in another state, going to school... I left after he beat me while I was pregnant. He was convicted of spousal abuse and has since gotten a full mental disability. He keeps telling the GAL things that are lies... He lives in a huge house that defies his SS check. I don't even know what the accusation is. Should my attorney know that? I really don't feel like he's helping me. He just tells me not to worry about it and fill out the papers. Meanwhile, how do you tell your child's friend's your being investigated?

Plaintiff or defendent? Or is it common to share the costs?
What do I do if defendent refuses to share the costs?
Can I force him to pay his side of the depositions?
Is the plaintiff also responasible to schdule the court reporter for both his and defndent depositions?

I am currently in community college majoring in business, should I change my major to pre-law? Are there any good law schools here in C.A.? Are there any law schools that will accept an online degree? Please post your comments, all are appreciated. Thank you
