So if a bailiff gets in and I happen to kill him as I believe him to be a burglar, where does the law stand?
I don't owe anything for a bailiff to break in, but I WOULD kill anyone who tries to get in.

Hi there,
I was issued two speeding tickets(which i never knew off till today @7thMarch2007) for last year (May & June). All correspondence were sent to my old address where i used to live around 13 months ago. During the time of speeding offence i was never at the address and all i did go to local motor tax office to get me address changed. And all motortax receipts were sent to new(i.e. current address).
My questions now is :
a) since i was not aware of these tickets at all and even the summons went to old address, what shall i do? What options are left for me?
i) go to court and plead (then probably get big fine and points)
ii) go to court with proof that i was not at that old address?
iii) go hire a solicitor and settle through a solicitor?
And help and input will be very much appreciated. I have never been to court and pretty gobsmacked by this one. Any guidance will be more than welcome.

Kind regards
A Friend(living in Ireland)

Do you beleive our soceity does enough to prevent the crimes of sex-offenders, is justice really served by allowing these people to sit in jail for years awaiting prosecution and then sit for more years awaiting the death penalty, and ultimately being put to death without suffering?

Gays and Lesbians have the same right as the rest of us do:

WE ALL HAVE THE RIGHT TO MARRY SOMEONE OF THE OPPOSITE GENDER!

A gay man may marry a woman.
Just as a straight man may marry a woman.

A lesbian woman may marry a man.
Just as a straight woman may marry a man.

NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL EQUAL PROTECTION UNDER THE LAW!

The reason we pay NIC is:-
Health care
Unemployment benefits
Pension allowances
If this government (and previous) stopped trying to be a world dominating power, and realise this country is tiny,
the colonian days are over. we would actually be a lot better off.
Get a world map,
check the size of the empire that they keep trying to cling onto. I'ts over!!!!!

Thanks.

my mom parked the car downhill, fire hydrogen broke and water flooded a street overnight completely, in the morning she only could see the top of the car and window, rest of it was in water. She had to junk the car, because due to the cold days it couldn't dry and elect. system died. Im thinking to file complain to city for maintaining poor system of fire hydrogens and due to the loss of the car. Do you know any website where i could look it up? or where should i go?

ok i sold a set of used itr rims/ wheels for a car, they where 15x7 , the wheels were not damaged when i inspected them but i did do a quick over look of them clean the front of them pretty good, when the rims arrived in good packaging , they were dented from behind and had maybe 8 nicks in the paint job , so the guy wanted a refund , I offered him partial refund or help get the wheels repainted He refused , He filed a complaint with pay pal They denied his claim , So now he said he persueing legal actions against me in court , small claims court , What should i do , i mean i offered money to him i don't think its right to issue a full refund I think i was pretty fair enough the wheels still look great and are fully able to use on the car , So let me know what i should do also he is from new york im from Ohio .

I ask this because of commericial where the kids are saying "my dad told me to never break a promise...". After thinking about this, why would anyone want to become a political figure, because then your known as a liar, a cheat, and a thief and have to prove your not. Thoughts?

Walter Reed awarded a five-year, $120-million contract to IAP Worldwide Services, which is run by Al Neffgen, a former senior Halliburton official.

They also found that more than 300 federal employees providing facilities management services at Walter Reed had drooped to fewer than 60 by Feb. 3, 2007, the day before IAP took over facilities management. IAP replaced the remaining 60 employees with only 50 private workers.

This was a case that happened long ago. Stanley was a U.S. military sergeant who volunteered to particapte in a program which would test the effiectiveness of clothing against chemical warfare. Unknown to the thousands of military men that all volunteered they were given huge doses of LSD because the army wanted to see the results of what LSD would do to the human body. Years afterwards he suffered massive memory loss, he often had hallucinations, and he sometimes would wake in the middle of the night and beat his wife and kids and forget about what he did in the morning. He became divorced later on, and stanley left the army in 1969 after over a decade of service. 6 years later the army contacted him to ask him about the long-term effects of what the LSD had done to him. It was the first time he knew he was given LSD. He sued the army for destorying his life, however no court would hear the case, it went all the way to the supreme court and i think they rejected, anyone know results?
