You can go right through the police dept. But ask yourself if it's worth it, and how the rest of the department is. I have nothing against the police, my husband actually is working on joining the police. One of my in-laws reported a police officer when he was younger and he was followed for a couple of years trying to find something to nail him on. He finally got caught with a tail light being out, and that was it. It could be bad depending on your accusations. Think about it before you make a decision. Please though don't let your experience effect the way you see other officers, because they are not all bad. Some may appear to be jerks, but you would to if you had to worry about a gun being pulled on you or worse.

haha report a bad cop ? thats funny. Its like reporting a teacher to a principal - of COARSE the principal is always going to cover his teachers.
Basically all you can do is tell the sheriff -- or try to report it to the media .. and hope something is done... but thats about it -- its SOOO hard to prove
Tupac used to always have video recorders with him wherever he went - because he felt like the cops were so crooked to him... so he figured anytime he got pulled over or he got in any trouble - he would have one of his friends tape the whole thing - to prove what was going on with the cops.
Its crazy to think that say we got pulled over for speeding .. and the cop is a bad cop - and in a bad mood he could say WHATEVER and we could get screwed! if he wants to say we tried to hit him - or we did whatever .. he could .. and who would the cops believe?
a drunk off duty cop - killed my best friend .. he ended up getting PROBATION ... wonder why?
i hate it because America acts so perfect like were all about JUSTICE FOR ALL and bla bla but this is just one case showing how f***** up our country can be at times.
sorry i had to get that all out! lol i know i moved far from your question.

If they are with a city or County I would contact the state Bureu of Investigation. If it is a State Officer, the FBI. If it is the FBI, DEA, or another Federal agency, I would contact the U.S. Attorney Generals Office. Good luck and realize though what your doing may be right, you may have to go through hell to find justice.
